I thoroughly enjoyed new author (to me) Ari McKay and Herc’s Merc Where Angels Fear to Tread. Main characters, Geo and Lee, while appearing to be very different in demeanor, were very compatible in their desires and the bedroom.
Geo, bodyguard for Hercules Security and Lee, photojournalist, immediately were enamored with each other from the moment Geo stepped foot into Lee’s studio for a sexy calendar shoot. The story quickly progressed- jumping in the sack upon meeting, to both men sent on assignment and then finding each other in the midst of a country coup.
The chemistry between Geo and Lee was palpable and they steamed the sheets with their sexy repertoire and mild BDSM tendencies. A small dose of Shibari added spice to the relationship.
I would have liked more story, learned more about the men and delved into their lives, but regardless, Where Angels Fear to Tread was well-written and well-worth the read. Ari McKay did a nice job of a continuous story flow which kept me interested and wanting more.
