Review

Ward of the Vampire was a superbly written novella by Kallysten, and one that I await a continuation. Morgan Ward was divine and I picture in my head a stunningly gorgeous dark haired man who knows what he wants in life and makes no bones about it. I fell in love with the brooding vampire from the moment he appeared on the page.

Kallysten’s characterization of Angelina fascinated me as she created a strong-minded woman who was not easily enthralled by the vampire, thus placing her life in jeopardy. The meeting of the two main characters was fireworks.

Ward of the Vampire detailed one very steamy sex scene that captivated and kept me spellbound. It was descriptive and the lust radiated through both Morgan and Angelina. Need more. HOT!
