Ms. Brown’s book Vampires Among Us is a most
interesting read and followed the life of a young woman on her journey to find
herself and the life she was meant to live. This was an emotional ride and hard
to put down once you started it.

her life back together and the fact she was hiding a secret about her husband

Kevin, her friend from college was in love with the beautiful
woman whose life had been pure hell on earth. Little did Erica know he was
there to protect her and bring her husband to justice for his crimes. Kevin ran
VTCF ( Vampire Crime Task Force) and had
a few secrets of his own. When she ran to him for help could he earn her trust
and build a life with this woman or will all the secrets be too much to overcome
for them both?
As Kevin worked to earn Erica's trust and gave her the time
she needed to put her life back together, Kevin’s family and team worked to
protect her from her husband who was out to get her back at any price. Charles
and Rosetta along with his sisters Jennifer, Kate and Elisabeth worked to show
Erica that not all vampires were evil monsters like the one she had been living
with for years. Kevin’s team worked to bring Shawn to justice, with his best
friend and second in command Marshall, they worked to make it a safe place for Erica.
Vampires Among Us was a journey through a woman’s
life as she overcame abuse and found her way back into the world. She learned
she was stronger than she thought and with the help of a good man could have the
life she deserved. That love, tenderness
and compassion were what she should expect from life and the right man made all
the difference. A enjoyable read and
worth you time to do so.
