S.E.X. Review~ Jake by Bea LaRocca

When Jake Campbell lands his dream job as ranch-hand in training at the Striker Ranch, more than one dream comes true for the handsome young cowboy.

Jake has never told anyone that he’s gay, but the powerful physical attraction that he feels for the foreman, Jackson Stone, and his right-hand man, Nate O’Connell, leave no doubt in his mind that handsome, muscular men do it for him. They’re probably both straight though, I mean, most guys are, right?

Jake decides, better to keep his desires to himself, than risk being rejected, ridiculed, or worse. So, he keeps his mouth shut and waits. He doesn’t have to wait long as Jackson makes his own desires known at the first opportunity. Thrilled to learn that Jackson and Nate are together and that they both want him to join them, he eagerly embarks on his first sexual adventure. How can they build something more when trouble keeps coming their way?

Bea LaRocca’s Jake, Kinky in Kansas rocked! Sexy men, hot cowboys and ménage~ what a great combo. Set on a working ranch in Kansas, Jackson and Nate were an established couple. Living under the same roof, working side by side, the couple shared a passion for ranch work and each other. Enter the new hand Jake and soon they found themselves in a ménage based on affection and sexual desire.

There were so many things I loved about the book. The slow buildup of the relationship, the smoking sex, and the interaction between the characters.

Although Jake appeared younger than Nate and Jackson, his life experiences catapulted him to a maturity beyond his years. Sexual immaturity aside, Jake was a determined young man and in that perseverance he became an equal partner in the trio's relationship.

The secondary characters were well-placed and I already foresee future love interests. Jake kept me intrigue and yearning for more. I look forward to seeing how the trio’s relationship grows.
