S.E.X. Review~ Hockey Holidays Anthology

Dallas Christmas by RJ Scott
Logan knows lusting after his captain's brother can only lead to trouble. But when fate throws them together, it’s hard not to fall in love.

Holding On Tight by Susan Scott Shelley
For defenseman Vince Forsberg and his boyfriend Joseph Parelli, the pressure to make their first Christmas together perfect leads to a lot of chaos, holiday mishaps, and some unexpected results.

A Star-Crossed Christmas by V.L. Locey
Two years ago, Mitch shared an explosive kiss with his childhood friend Shaun. Will Christmas be the time for the two men to find a future together that works?

Dallas Christmas was a nice little read by RJ Scott. Logan was sweet albeit a tad bit over dramatic and Archie was relentless with a small dose of stalker. But, having said that Ms. Scott did a nice job of putting the two men in each other’s paths and the story was sweet with an HEA.

A Star-Crossed Christmas by V.L. Locey was a friends to lovers tale with two very sexy athletes. Hockey player Mitch and snow boarder Shaun were friends for many years. One gay and the other only gay for his friend. Mitch coined himself bisexual, but any feelings for the same sex were reserved solely for Shaun. Together , the banter through the friendship was solid as was their newly formed attraction and follow through. I enjoyed both men’s portrayal and Ms. Locey delivered a nice read with (from the start) likeable characters.

Holding on Tight by Susan Scott Shelley brought together hockey player Vince and his partner Joseph. Feeling lost in the world of hockey, Joseph attempted to make their first Christmas together a memorable one, yet everything that could go wrong did. Never having read Ms. Shelley, I thoroughly enjoyed her short tale. Of the three short stories I read, Vince and Joseph were my favorite characters. They were well-established with the desire to build a better future together. Both men were sweet and there was just enough angst, holding my interest and placing a smile on my face.

Overall, the three stories were well done and enjoyable. None left us hanging, except for the fact that I always want more- hot & sexy men- you can never get enough.
