Exclusive to Amazon and Available to Borrow with Kindle Unlimited

The Trouble With Tony (Book #1) - Amazon US | Amazon UK | Universal Link

As part of the investigation into the murder of a young woman, Seattle P.I. Tony DeMarco poses as a patient of Dr. Jack Halloran, the therapist who treated the victim at a Seattle sex clinic. This isn’t the first time Tony has gone undercover, but it’s the first time he’s wanted to go under cover with one of his suspects. He can’t help it—Jack Halloran is just the kind of steely-eyed hero Tony goes for. But he’ll have to prove Halloran’s innocence and keep the doctor from finding out about his ruse before he can play Romeo.

Dr. Halloran has his own issues, including a damaged right arm sustained in the line of duty as a combat surgeon in Iraq and the PTSD that followed. He’s confused to find himself attracted to a new patient, the big, funny Italian with the puppy-dog eyes, and Tony’s humor slips right past Jack’s defenses, making him feel things he thought long buried. But can the doctor and the P.I. find a path to romance despite the secrets between them?

The Enlightenment Of Daniel (Book #2) - Amazon US | Amazon UK | Universal Link

Business tycoon Daniel Derenzo lives for his work until his dying father reminds him life is short. When Daniel starts to reevaluate his world he experiences a startling revelation—he’s attracted to his business partner and best friend, Nick, even though Daniel always believed himself to be straight. In typical type-A fashion, Daniel dissects his newfound desires with the help of the experts at the Expanded Horizons sex clinic. He goes after Nick with the fierce determination that’s won him many a business deal.

Nick Ross was in love with Daniel years ago, when they were roommates in college. But Daniel was straight and Nick patched his broken heart by marrying Marcia. Two kids and fourteen years later, they go through the motions of their marriage like ships passing in the night. But Nick’s kids mean the world to him, and he’s afraid he’ll never get joint custody if they divorced. If he can trust his heart to an awakening Daniel, they all might find their way to a happily ever after.

NOTE: This novel can be read as a stand-alone.

The Mating Of Michael (Book #3) - Amazon US | Amazon UK | Universal Link

Everyone admires Michael Lamont for being a nurse, but his part-time work as a gay sex surrogate not only raises eyebrows, it's cost him relationships. Michael is small, beautiful, and dedicated to working with people who need him. But what he really wants is a love of his own. He spends most of his time reading science fiction, especially books written by his favorite author and long-time crush, the mysteriously reclusive J.C. Guise.

James Gallway’s life is slowly but inexorably sliding downhill. He wrote a best-selling science fiction novel at the tender age of eighteen, while bedridden with complications of polio. But by twenty-eight, he's lost his inspiration and his will to live. His sales from his J.C. Guise books have been in decline for years. Wheelchair bound, James has isolated himself, convinced he is unlovable. When he is forced to do a book signing and meets Michael Lamont, he can’t believe a guy who looks like Michael could be interested in a man like him.

Michael and James are made for each other. But they must let go of stubbornness to see that life finds a way and love has no limitations.

NOTE: This novel can be read as a stand-alone.

About Eli

Having been, at various times and under different names, a minister’s daughter, a computer programmer, a game designer, the author of paranormal mysteries, a fan fiction writer, and organic farmer, Eli has been a m/m romance author since 2013. She has over 30 books published.

Eli has loved romance since her teens and she particular admires writers who can combine literary merit, genuine humor, melting hotness, and eye-dabbing sweetness into one story. She promises to strive to achieve most of that most of the time. She currently lives on a farm in Pennsylvania with her husband, bulldogs, cows, a cat, and lots of groundhogs.

In romance, Eli is best known for her Christmas stories because she’s a total Christmas sap. These include “Blame it on the Mistletoe”, “Unwrapping Hank” and “Merry Christmas, Mr. Miggles”. Her “Howl at the Moon” series of paranormal romances featuring the town of Mad Creek and its dog shifters has been popular with readers. And her series of Amish-themed romances, Men of Lancaster County, has won genre awards.

When I first decided to read and review Eli Easton’s Sex in Seattle series, I thought how would I ever love books about sex surrogates, within the books seemingly to appear as prostituting yourself out. But….. I could not have been more wrong.

From Tony to Daniel, to Michael, I loved each and every book in the series. The Trouble with Tony was angsty, but not over the top. Tony and Jack (Dr. Halloran) were the perfect yin to the yang and they gave hope to those who suffer from PTSD, as well as those who need emotional attachment prior to sexual gratification. Tony was gruff with a large dose of tenderness, while Jack was steely but melted with Tony. Tony’s crazy family made me smile and the “sex” speak between Tony and Jack while in session had me laughing out loud.

A five handcuff review

The Enlightenment of Daniel was completely different from the first book in the series- both men were workaholics- Type A personalities. They were individually going through their own issues but eventually found their way back to each other from the friendship they had to the lovers they became. Nick’s children were adorable, especially his son. I think what bothered me was Nick’s pushover persona with his wife and how she treated him. Good thing Daniel was able to take the bull by the horns so that all received their HEA.

A four handcuff review

My favorite of the three books was The Mating of Michael. I loved Michael, sex surrogate and James, the author & man of his dreams. Both men brought their own baggage to the friendship, especially James- his disability also in his mind as to why anyone would want to be with him. Michael was a loving soul who naturally oozed kindness and compassion, regardless of his profession. He melted my heart.

A five handcuff review

Tastefully done, Ms. Easton brought forth a topic which I would fathom people rarely discuss, but she did it tactfully and with care.

All the books in the series were well written and enjoyable.
Definitely S.E.X.

S.E.X. Review~ Fade In by V.L. Locey

Blurb

Will Devon and Caiden discover that their new love is a wrap after the filming ends?

Weddings, champagne, and slow dancing. It’s a lethal combination and one that has led film student Devon Maxwell into one awkward predicament. Brought in at the last minute to help his friends Isamu and Brian during their Bryant Park wedding, Devon was not prepared for Caiden Dell to sweep into his life. The spark of attraction between him and the hip film executive was instantaneous. That spark led them right into Caiden’s big bed for a night of pleasure that Devon will never be able to duplicate no matter how many takes life gives him.

To make things even more complicated, Caiden offers the recently vacated job of office intern to him. He’d be a fool to turn down an offer to work at Budgie in the Dell, the hottest LGBT film production company in the Big Apple. Looks as if Devon’s hopes of working in film are about to come true. He’s ready for days filled with tiring shoots, long hours, and irate actors. He just never dreamed his nights would overflow with passion, laughter, and whispers shared with a gorgeous, older lover.

Tales Of Bryant Series

Book #1 - Tales of Bryant - Amazon US | Amazon UK | Universal Link
Book #2 - Nine Small Sips - Amazon US | Amazon UK | Universal Link

USA Today Bestselling Author V.L. Locey – Penning LGBT hockey romance that skates into sinful pleasures.

V.L. Locey loves worn jeans, yoga, belly laughs, walking, reading and writing lusty tales, Greek mythology, Torchwood and Dr. Who, the New York Rangers, comic books, and coffee. (Not necessarily in that order.) She shares her life with her husband, her daughter, one dog, two cats, a pair of geese, far too many chickens, and two steers.

When not writing spicy romances, she enjoys spending her day with her menagerie in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania with a cup of fresh java in one hand and a steamy romance novel in the other.

Fade In by V.L. Locey further continued the sage and lives of the men found in her Tales of Bryant Park series. In this installment, the readers are regaled with the story of Caiden and Devon. Devon, a film student who met Caiden at his friend Isamu’s wedding fell in lust and love with Caiden.

I know this is an older/younger man tale, but I times I thought Caiden was well into his sixties, and not his thirties. Then I’d turn the page and wonder if Caiden ever truly grew up. He was decidedly rich and flamboyant- making no bones about his choices. He kept me on my toes. Devon learned that sometimes good things happen to good people, and nefarious motives are not always the case.
Additionally, I liked the insertion of the manservant- very “The Birdcage”- the man was funny and witty.

The sex was steamy and hot and kept this reader interested.
A would recommend reading the books in order to get the full effect of the series.

S.E.X. Review~ Ends of the Earth by Keira Andrews

A desperate young father. A lonely ranger. A race against time.

Jason Kellerman’s life revolves around his eight-year-old daughter. Teenage curiosity with his best friend led to Maggie’s birth, and her mother tragically died soon after. Only twenty-five and a single dad, Jason hasn’t had time to even think about romance. Disowned by his wealthy family, he’s scrimped and saved to bring Maggie west for a camping vacation. The last thing Jason expects is to question his sexuality after meeting a sexy, older park ranger.

Ben Hettler’s stuck. He loves working in the wild under Montana’s big sky, but at forty-one, his love life is non-existent, his ex-boyfriend just married and adopted, and Ben’s own dream of fatherhood feels impossibly out of reach. He’s attracted to Jason, but what’s the point? Besides the age difference and skittish Jason’s lack of experience, they live thousands of miles apart. Ben wants more than a meaningless fling.

Then a hunted criminal on the run takes Jason’s daughter hostage, throwing Jason and Ben together in a desperate and dangerous search through endless miles of mountain forest. They’ll go to the ends of the earth to rescue Maggie—but what comes next? Can they build a new family together and find a place to call home?

Ends of the Earth is an age-gap gay romance from Keira Andrews featuring sexual awakening, action and adventure, a plucky kid, and of course a happy ending. Note: Previously published as Road to the Sun.

Wow! All I can say is WOW! Ends of the Earth by Kiera Andrews was so much more than I expected. I read the blurb and was immediately intrigued but the premise. Lonely ranger; single dad with inquisitive daughter; and a wanted criminal- only time would tell, if this reader was truly satisfied and YES, Ms. Andrews did not disappoint.

Ends of the Earth was much more than an age gap MM romance. It was a mystery filled with harrowing experiences and intrigue.

As always, I want a satisfying romance, but one of my real passions is either mystery or historical romance. Ends of the Earth was a wonderfully written mystery drama- not of the whodunit type but of the kidnapping and go to the ends of the earth to save the child type.

Ben and Jason were soulful characters- filled with desire and passion. Each man exuded a sense of worthiness; even if they didn’t feel it at the moment. I adored Maggie, Jason’s daughter and her zest for life and learning. And of course, the insertion of my hometown was a plus.

My only negative- I definitely needed more. A second book? Just asking, for a friend.
Ms. Andrews, you hit this one out of the park.

S.E.X. Review~ The Legacy by Alex Jane

1919. Nebraska.

After returning from the frontline in Europe, all Emmanuel Jackson wants is to find a little peace. Unable to cope with life in New York, he escapes to the homestead his grandfathers left to him in Nebraska. Except, after four years, the sleepy town of Lastford isn’t exactly how he’d left it.

With many of his neighbors forced out by financial hardship, and a ruthless businessman taking full advantage of the fact, Emmanuel finds himself being drawn into matters he’d rather avoid. One of them being Asher Franklin, his childhood tormentor and unfairly handsome officer of the law.

Having to fight his attraction to the man he once hated, as well as defend the community he wants to make his own, is far from the quiet life Emmanuel had envisioned for himself.

But some things are worth fighting for.
And when there’s no fight left in you, love might be the thing that brings you home.

Alex Jane has become one of my go-to authors, especially when she expands on the Alphas’ Homestead series. Her latest book, The Legacy, The Homestead Legacy series was a wonderful addition that left a tear in my eye but a smile on my face.

Manny returned from the Great War, inheriting his grandfather’s homestead in Nebraska, hoping for a new start and a little peace. Fans of the Alphas’ Homestead series will remember the little boy, who grew to be a man and carry on Caleb and Jacob’s legacy.

Asher, an alpha without a pack, the district marshal, and friend of the family, intimated his life into Manny’s with the knowledge the man was his mate and the need to be near him. Unfortunately for Manny, he only remembered the young boy who tormented him.

Thank goodness Ms. Jane figured out a way to bring these two men together and created a sexy read with larger than life characters. I loved reading about Seth, although a bit older, still cantankerous and mischief-ridden.

Martha, ever spunky and vocal, made my day to read about her and the life she’s led. My downfall, and one which I already knew, Caleb and Jacob only live on in memory- my two favorite characters of the series.

As a lover of history, I appreciated Ms. Jane’s attention to historical detail when writing about Nebraska and the surrounding states. I was transported to the homestead, and the desire to keep tradition while embracing the new.

The Legacy was heartfelt, tearful, and sexy all rolled into one story. A must read.

Excerpt

March—Reigning Men All Male Revue—Baltimore
“To a weekend with no rules!” Sage shouted to overcome the pounding music and catcalls all around the club.
Downing a Fireball, the cinnamon-hot whiskey scorched a trail straight to her gut, giving her courage to whistle as loudly as the other women enjoying the six gorgeous men costumed as legendary heroes throughout history, their choreography candid and erotic.
In truth, the strip club was a blast. But, for Sage, it was less about gorgeous male dancers and more about seeing her best friend having fun. Whether it was the stress of planning a wedding, taking law classes, or the down payment on a house, Bailey hadn’t laughed or smiled in months.
“Enjoying yourself, Bailey?” Sage asked, leaning close enough to be heard over the music.
“Are you kidding? The dancers are hot and I’m crushing on the one dressed as Sir Galahad.”
“Just remember, tomorrow, we’re going to a spa, then shopping. Tonight, we get to play.”
“Amen!” Bailey agreed, raising her glass high in the air. Joining her, Sage clinked her glass and downed the shot that reminded her of the cinnamon hot candy she’d loved as a kid.
Two shots later, Sage couldn’t help but wonder if something was wrong. Bailey still looked unhappy.
“Bailey, are you sure you’re alright? If you’re having doubts about the wedding, don’t hesitate to speak up. You know I’ll support you, so will Gretchen and your parents.”
“We’ll talk when I don’t have to shout,” Bailey promised.
Sage would have said more but the music went quiet, a spotlight centered on the main stage, a red rose in the center of the circle of white cast on the black curtain. At some point the six dancers had gone to side stages set up strategically about the room.
From out of nowhere, their waiter appeared to cap off their drinks or refill shot glasses. They’d paid for the VIP treatment, gaining the best view of the stage and the waiter was adorable with his nerdy glasses and babyface looks.
“Ladies, who’s ready to play with our resident fallen angel, Azrael, who can tempt anyone to sin,” an unseen DJ enticed, his voice familiar as a blast from the past, the lighting going dark as a red spotlight centered on a black velvet curtain.
The sudden appearance of a longhaired masked man with black angel wings and black leather pants that left nothing to the imagination caused Sage to gasp. Whoa! Azrael was hotter than any of the strippers she’d seen so far. And, boy, there was something about him that called to her inner bad girl.
Gretchen Thomas whistled and poured another round. Sage downed hers in a single gulp, the cinnamon heat working its magic. Bailey, who wore a white tee shirt that read bachelorette #1 and a tiara on her head, did the same and they shared a playful smile.
Music kicked up even louder, the women got rowdier, and Azrael hadn’t even done more than handing out roses he’d managed to produce out of thin air to those who’d been fortunate enough to surround the stage. Obviously, the dancer was trained in magic, but the twenties and fifties in the women’s hands suggested it was no illusion as to why they’d bypassed the plethora of bouncers.
Sage suddenly found herself leaning forward when Azrael’s wings morphed into a long black cloak with red lining, his roses replaced with a red bullwhip secured to his belt, and a red mask covered his eyes. Holy cow, red was her favorite color! Could this night get any better? She hoped so. And, hey, she’d found the perfect red velvet dress that made her feel both pretty and a little bit like a vampire due to the flow of the handkerchief hem about her calves.
“I think the angel is a vampire in disguise,” Bailey shouted.
“Or a Dom, hell, I’d let him tie me up if given the chance,” Sage responded, causing Bailey’s bridal party to laugh out loud and down another round of Fireballs. When they’d been refilled, she couldn’t say, though this time she suspected it was their adorable twenty-something server who wore a tux, suspenders, and a dapper bowtie.
Drawn back to the stage, Sage realized something had changed. Oh no, Azrael was leaving his post…and coming straight for the VIP table.
“Whose naughty enough to come up on stage with me?” Azrael asked them. “The bride-to-be?”
“Oh no, my fiancĂ© wouldn’t like it,” Bailey denied, shaking her head.
“Come on, when’s the wedding?”
“End of June,” she answered, swallowing hard, as if it hurt to talk.
“Months away, come on. Promise, I won’t bite and tell,” he urged.
“Go, Bailey, have fun while you can,” Sage tempted, laughing.
“Or, call things off before it’s too late,” her sister remarked.
“You’re just equating every man with Steve.”
“This has nothing to do with the biggest mistake of my life.”
“I’d think dating him after what he did to our brother should’ve been a clue.”
“Ouch! I loved him as much as you did.”
“I’ll join you, Azrael,” Sage offered, mainly to ease the sudden tension between the two sisters.
Uncertain if he’d heard her speak up, she jumped when his gloved hand caught her wrist. Bringing her to her feet, he halted when she paused to grab her cane. “You need that, honey?”
“No, just need a little stability,” she answered, relieved when he took her elbow as he led the way to the stage, his grip as stabilizing as her cane would’ve been.
The next thing she knew, they were front and center. The DJ spoke, again his voice familiar, the music turning dark, sultry, and wicked. The lighting overhead fading to red. Looking back at the dancer, she couldn’t help feeling a little nervous. The truth was, it’d been so long since she’d interacted with a man other than a friend and she kinda felt virginal.
The first song ended, the music merging to something trippy and electronic, her focus on Azrael, who only had to crook his finger once to get her moving to a contraption that looked like a medieval torture device.
Out of nowhere, he produced a length of red rope, came closer, and spoke in her ear. “You up for a little fun?”
“Good to go,” she said.
He waited a moment longer, then proceeded to bend her over the contraption and bind her wrists to a pair of restraints already in place. Having spent enough time in community theater to recognize how easily she could get out of her predicament, she went with it, enjoying her moment in the spotlight.
The crowd grew wild when his cloak came off, the bullwhip sailing this way and that, never once striking her. Little by little, with the snap of the whip’s tail, Azrael’s clothing was coming off, boots, a belt, leathers, a shirt, finally a red mask. It took a second to realize why. Oh, my goodness, Azrael was giving her a view of a bite-worthy ass exposed by a barely-there G-string.
Then he turned around and she felt her mouth drop open. The man was ripped, bare of body hair, and glistening with body oil. Holy archangel, given the significant bulge behind a triangle of black leather, he was either stuffed with a couple pairs of socks or hung like a horse.

AUTHOR BIO

My love for storytelling began when I created my first fictional characters in kindergarten, convincing my family and friends that Red Henry and Green Henry were identical twin brothers in my school. They were mischievous, rarely did their homework, and even had girlfriends! Years later, I started to write, completing my first manuscript in middle school. I confess the heroine was a cross between a contemporary Laura Ingalls Wilder and Nancy Drew, who’d been dating one of the Hardy Boys, but when I wrote “the end” I’d known I had more stories to tell.

S.E.X. Review~ Be With Me by Kris Jacen

Staff Sergeant Rafe Luna thinks he’s got his life in order. Been in the Army for six years, just met some guys that could become good friends and has his sights set on being a command sergeant major. Focused on his career, he’s knocked on his ‘fourth point of contact’ (in Airborne speak) when he tries to order some food at a fair and meets the one that his heart says is meant to “be with him”.

Debbie Hansen has her focus on becoming an RN and that’s all at the moment. She’s had tunnel vision; working for her uncle during summers on the fair circuit selling French fries and lemonade and studying for her degree the rest of the year. There is no time or room in her life for a relationship with a soldier— though the soldier might have something to say about that.

What can happen when two focused individuals meet and feel attraction? Can Rafe adjust his plans to include a wife and family? Can Debbie fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse while being a military spouse and moving every few years?

In this stand-alone prequel to Jacen’s With Me series, she’ll take readers on a journey of love and discovery for Rafe and Debbie Luna, the backbone couple of her series

Excerpt from BE WITH ME:

The coffee was taking its sweet time brewing her next cup; standing and staring at the coffee maker wasn’t going to make it go any faster but if she sat long enough without the caffeine, she’d be out. Debbie knew she probably didn’t need to have another cup; she probably needed to get some sleep but she was taking her licensing exam in two days and she was terrified that she was going to screw it up. There had to be a way to cram the entire physician’s reference into her brain by test time, right?
Finally, the elixir was ready for her and she added a healthy amount of creamer and a tiny bit of sugar. Okay, more than a tiny bit but she needed the extra boost. Blowing on the cup as she moved back to the couch and her books, the door to the condo opened and she screamed.
“Ahhh!” When Debbie jumped, her coffee spilled over her hand causing her to scream again. “Shit!” She ran back to the kitchen, turned on the cold water and jammed her hand under the stream.
“Debs? Are you okay?” Luny appeared in the doorway. She looked over at her fiancĂ© and sighed. Seeing him in his uniform warmed all her parts. He was undoing the uniform top and the open jacket with the T-shirt underneath with the pants and boots. Yum, yum.
“Huh?” she replied absently, totally distracted from her hand by his appearance.
“You screamed and ran for the kitchen. Are you okay?” He motioned to the sink, drawing her attention back to her hand.
“Damn it. Yes, I’ll be fine.” She flicked off the water and grabbing a paper towel. “When you opened the door, it surprised me and I spilled some coffee over my hand.”
Luny’s eyes narrowed as he walked across the kitchen and turned off the coffee pot. “Have you been drinking coffee all day?”
“Maybe. You’re home early.” She moved over and wrapped her arms around his waist. Ummm, comfy. She dropped her head against his shoulder and closed her eyes.
“Actually, I’m late. There was a car accident over in the Anzio housing area. Cassidy and I were first on scene so we got stuck with the paperwork.”
“Everyone okay?” she asked, not opening her eyes.
“No critical injuries. Some bumps and bruises. Car versus truck so…” Debbie nodded her head. She’d seen enough accidents during her emergency rotation. Oh, that’s another thing she needed to review. Trauma procedures for car accidents. There was a huge section on the test about management of care and safety.
“Hey where’d you go?” Luny broken into her thoughts.
“Huh? I’m right here,” Debbie answered.
Luny pulled back from her and stared at her with a frown on his face. Debbie reached up and wiped at her chin. Had she spilled coffee on her?
“You might have been here physically but mentally?” Luny shrugged. “Let me change into some shorts and then let’s watch something mindless.”
Debbie looked at Luny then the clock. Wow, she’d been studying for ten hours. Yeah, that was enough for the day. Maybe for the test too. How much more was she going to be able to retain if she couldn’t focus her eyes? She grabbed the text books from the coffee table and dropped them on top of the box next to the couch.
Looking around the room, there were so many boxes that still needed unpacking. She shifted to push one of the boxes before it fell over. They’d both been so anxious to move but neither of them had taken the time to unpack much more than the essentials or even pick a wedding date. How the hell had they been living like this for over a month? Maybe tomorrow was a day for her to relax and organize the condo. Maybe they should talk about a wedding date.
“Okay, now what’s got you all stressed out? Debs, you are going to kill that exam. You finished in the top ten of your program and that’s not an easy feat. Please relax.” Luny came back into the room.
“Actually? I wasn’t thinking about anything having to do with medicine at all. I was thinking that we should set a wedding date and maybe, oh I don’t know, unpack some boxes,” Debbie deadpanned. It didn’t take ten seconds for Luny to realize what she had said and start to laugh.
He grabbed her by the waist and spun her around, causing her to laugh too. “I love you, Debs.”
“I love you too,” she echoed. “Now how about we pick a date?”
“You say when and I’ll be there. Mess uniform?” He guided them to sit on the couch, pulling her into his lap.
Debbie thought about that for a minute. “Would you be upset if I said no?”
“Tell me what you’re thinking then.” Luny sat there patiently, his full attention on her.
“I’m ninety-nine point nine percent sure that we will be attending many events in the future where we’ll be in formal attire?” she offered.
“Yeah, that’s a pretty good assumption.” Luny wiggled and leaned back on the couch. His right hand was rubbing up and down her thigh in a soothing motion.
“What if we just had a small ceremony at my mom’s? More toward casual then formal. Nice pants, shirt for you. Tea length dress for me. No train on the dress, no taffeta, maybe some lace.” Debbie had never really given much thought about what was her dream wedding but she just wasn’t sure that all the formality was what she wanted right now.
“Not into the princess wedding day?” Debbie looked into his face to see if he was teasing her or was serious with his question.
She nodded. “I just…” she trailed off.
“You were a daddy’s girl and he’s not here to escort you down the aisle,” Luny filled in, understanding her when she didn’t understand herself.
“Is it wrong if I don’t want to have my uncle walk me down the aisle? He’s been there for me my whole life and did all he could for me to not be left out of something after my dad died. I—” she stopped and buried her face in Luny’s shoulder as the tears came.
Debbie hadn’t even known that this was in her. She thought she’d cried all the tears over her father’s death long, long ago. Luny held her and wiped her cheeks as the tears subsided.
“So a small backyard wedding. One person standing with each of us? Nice catered meal with a two-tier cake?” she suggested.
“As you wish,” Luny replied.
Series Information~

Serving in the military is a hard job and even harder for those that love those in uniform. Dealing with deployment to the final respects to a soldier, the military holds tight to their traditions and family formed through it all is the backbone. Someone to help you move a couch or talk you through a PTSD patch at two am. A group of seven — the heptad— have been there done that for each and every one of them.
Jeff “Mackay” MacNamara has been there for his friends when they’ve found love and now they’re there for him in WAIT FOR ME. Danny Glenn thought that he’d lose his connection with his friends but instead, it changes when he falls for Mackay’s brother in EXPLORE WITH ME. The heptad had been there for the Army for over twenty years, maybe it was time to train the next generation to take care of the soldiers; one of those is Carter May, who served with Mackay, helped out Danny and is now learning from Mooney as he falls in love and deals with hatred in LEARN WITH ME. May is forming his own family (the mil crew and civ crew) and one of them, Randolph is extremely protective especially when May’s former best friend shows up. Seems there’s more than meets the eye to Briar Mason and they’ll learn their individual and combined strengths when they face challenges in CHALLENGE ME. Formed and biological families meet and come together to support Tank and Jack as they’ve got to figure out how to STEP UP WITH ME. ALWAYS WITH ME, readers will get to see the set of twins that first appears in WAIT FOR ME, all grown up and finding their futures and loves. BE WITH ME (the only M/F) is a prequel in that it all takes place prior to WAIT FOR ME and readers see the beginnings of the heptad as well as Mooney and Debbie’s story including the arrival of the twins.

Be With Me by Kris Jacen, the prequel to the With Me series was a wonderful addition and set the stage for an understanding of the dynamics of the series. Focused on Rafe and Debbie, the readers were regaled with their meeting, falling in love, and the way they became the patriarchs of the military group of friends- their family of choice.

We met characters of the books in the series, which we already knew the lives they would have, but it was nice to see the prior to their own stories.

I adored Rafe and Debbie. Their love at first sight story was well crafted and delivered- not forced. The life of a career military family contains many pitfalls, but just as many, if not more celebrations- and the author did a wonderful job of delivery. She never underplayed the military-civilian dynamics all the while giving us a well-rounded portrayal. Debbie was a cheerful bright spot in the story, her sense of humor infectious as her love for all things Rafe . The sexual dynamics was hot and steamed my e-reader.

The crazy nicknames everyone received had me laughing and the overall story put a smile on my face.

Be With Me was…..

Definite S.E.X.
