Ms. Gill and Ms. Blaise’s book Desires was an
intriguing read to say the least. The
story was based in and around the club Desires.
The club was a private sex club for those looking for a safe place to go
and just be yourself and explore your sexuality. Run by a woman named Angel,
who is very Type A personality but with a good heart that only wanted her
member safe and happy.
Stacie was a woman just coming out of an abusive marriage
where her ex-husband left her wondering about her own value as a person much
less as a sexy, attractive woman. She knew her life couldn’t continue this way, with just work and home. Stacie was
lonely knowing she needed help to fix her life, she joined Desires in an
attempt to fix her life and find the happiness she craved.
Dan worked for Desires as a mentor/ teacher for those lost in
the ways of their bodies and the joy of sex. A young man with true compassion
for those who came to the club for help. When Dan and Stacie meet the sparks
fly between them with each lesson, but the contract she signed stated she could
keep him as hers.
The sex was hot and the passion just as tangible between
Stacie and Dan. This was a true story of a woman looking to find herself again
and regain what was lost to her in her abusive marriage. During her journey of self-discovery
Stacie found she was truly worthwhile person and deserving of love. If you are
into hot sex and good characters this is
the book for you.
