S.E.X. Review~ Climbing the Savage Mountain by T.A. Chase

After conquering the world’s tallest mountain, loving Toby shouldn’t be so scary.
Jensen Brockhoff wins his way back into Toby Schwartzel’s heart, but it won’t be that easy to erase the pain of the past. He has two more mountains to conquer and they’re the most difficult.
Toby understands Jensen’s obsession with the highest peaks in the world. He’s willing to wave goodbye as Jensen leaves on his trips, but he can’t help worrying that Jensen won’t come back. That the lure of the mountains will prove too difficult for his love to fight.
Climbing has always been Jensen’s way of escape, yet loving Toby is proving stronger and Jensen must choose between the man he loves and the passion that saved his life. Will Jensen give up his climbing gear to build a new life with Toby?
Publisher's Note: This book is a sequel to Mountains to Climb and is best read in order.
Toby and Jensen are a beautifully written couple, thanks to the talent of T.A. Chase in Climbing the Savage Mountain. The love story of Toby and Jensen began in Mountains to Climb and took off like a rocket in the sequel.

Ms. Chase delivered a story of trials and tribulations and of second chances. Toby and Jensen have fought long and hard to be together and to stay together. Her delivery of a heart felt message was loud and clear, as Ms. Chase wrote of the perils of drug and alcohol abuse and the long-lasting effects on not only the abuser, but those around him. The guilt Jensen felt for his actions were exponential, yet Toby stuck by his man through the ordeal and allowed him to exorcise his demons in the only way he knew how~ climbing.

Ms. Chase wrote of gentleness, forgiveness and of a loving family; some by blood, others chosen. The charisma between the loving couple and those they surrounded themselves with radiated through the author’s talented writing and steeped deep into my heart. Love was truly in abundance.

Climbing the Savage Mountain was descriptive and well-researched. Ms. Chase, kudos to you for making me feel as if I agonized on the summit with Jensen, Jigger and Cat.
