When Zack realizes how many men are into his old friend, he starts to see him in a new light. Matt is no longer the dorky kid who ate dirt. He’s the man Zack was always meant to be with. Zack tries to make a move. Matt rebuffs him. He doesn’t want to be another one of Zack’s conquests. He wants more.
Zack has to decide if he is ready for more with the man who he never thought of as a lover. Matt needs to trust that Zack’s feelings for him are real.
A Second Look is the second book in the Pacific Palms Resort series, but each book can stand alone. This gay male contemporary love story includes graphic sex and is intended for adults only.
Kendall Morgan’s novelette A Second Look was chockful of sex from beginning to end. Zack and Matt were in paradise~ plenty of white sandy beaches, turquoise water, and tons of available and willing men. And what are two healthy men with even healthier libidos to do~ navigate their way through as many willing partners as possible.
A
Second Look was a friends to lovers’ tale. Matt
always pined for his friend Zack, but Zack was always too busy going to the
next conquest, until the light bulb went off and he began to look at Matt through
new eyes. The ending of course, was what it should be~ Zack and Matt finally
making a go of it. Everything else in between, hook ups run amok.
I never connected with
Zack as I found his lifestyle shallow and egotistical. In my opinion, he
fancied himself the greatest gift to mankind, using men for his sexual
gratification, then walking away. Matt on the other hand, always had a soft
spot for his friend and even though he tended to jump in the sack as well, his
portrayal was a bit more careful and thoughtful. Young man with a bit of baggage
from childhood finally found himself and just lets go.
If you want sexual
escapades and a virtual meat market, the A
Second Look is the book for you.
