Irish born large animal veterinarian Quinn O’Laughlin’s wealthy clientele trust him with their equine partners in the small, international horse community of Wellington, Florida, but he has secrets. His equine patients aren’t spilling the beans that it is Quinn’s healing hands and mind-to-mind communication skills that are his greatest talents.
Master Dom and International show jumping star, Jessop Stoneman, finds Quinn very attractive in an elemental way. His on-again, off-again affair with his dishonest ex-jumping trainer is definitely over for good, and he’s interested in Quinn.
The opening of the Winter Equestrian Festival at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center is rife with excitement over the Olympic trials. Danger is in the air when very valuable horses go missing. What can the vet and the jumper expect of this show season on the professional and personal levels? Can Quinn and Jess solve the mystery of the valuable kidnapped horses?
A Siren Erotic Romance
The equestrian world
came alive in Skye Michaels new book
Quinn’s Secret Gifts. Both involved
in horsemanship ~ one a ride, the other a veterinarian~ Jess and Quinn took their
professionally relationship and elevated it to personal.
In the lifestyle and
already doubting his ability as a dom, Jess turned his sights on the lovely
Irish vet with a submissive streak.
The main characters
were caught up in drama and intrigue as horse nappers ran amok. What I most enjoy when
reading a Skye Michaels book was the
attention to detail and the ability to teach this reader something new. Additionally,
the author, if possible, sets her books during actual world events thus
authenticating the setting.
Jess and Quinn were
likeable characters and although the focus was not on BDSM, the story flowed,
containing other facets that kept me interested.
The
Wilton Park Grand Hotel series was worth the time and Quinn’s Secret Gifts did not disappoint.
