As much as I wanted to connect with the characters of Brina Brady's newest release, Master Cleary's Boys, I did not. Emotionally, I was left stilted as were the connection of Cleary, Jack, and Kevin. I sensed an underlying immaturity in not only the subs but the Dom and the connection between the three men fell flat.

I enjoy Ms. Brady's writing but this book was not for me.

I am from Huntington Beach, Ca. I taught various subjects at a Continuation High School in Los Angeles, California for 27 years. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in history, Secondary Social Science Credential and a Master's Degree in Secondary Reading and Secondary Education from California State University, Long Beach.
