I enjoyed Memory’s Prisoner
by Jamie Lynn Miller and the dynamics between Mitch and Joey. Both men severely
hurt in the line of duty, they must learn to overcome obstacles both
professionally and personally.
Angst-filled but not overly dramatic,
Ms. Miller kept the storyline flowing and engaging. Although the men
were only six years apart in age, at times I felt Joey to be immature and Mitch
beyond his years. Overall, though, the two worked well together and came full
circle as the story unfolded.
The author created a synergy and
realism with the police drama and added secondary characters that enhanced the
tale. I also appreciated that the story was more about the aftermath of a
tragedy and not necessarily drawn out.
A good story overall.
