Arrogant, moody, and totally gorgeous, Isaac Brannigan has been blind since he was eight. After the death of his guide dog and best friend, Rosie, his partnership with his new guide dog, Brady, isn't going well.
Carter tries to help both man and canine through this initiation phase, but just who is leading who?
I loved Blind Faith by N.R.
Walker and even more so narrated by Michael Pauley. The
storyline itself was wonderfully written- new love in the face of life’s
dilemmas, and all the better by the narrator’s voice. An almost sweet innocence
to Mr. Pauley’s tone when he spoke as Carter and a stubbornness
as Isaac- a definite differentiation between the two.
Any book that inserts GSD’s or just
dogs in general, has this reader hooked. I enjoyed the banter between the men as
well as secondary characters Mark and Hannah. The eventual mutual attraction- a
slow burn resonated throughout the story, even with Carter’s straight
forwardness.
Michael Pauley did a wonderful
job of bringing Ms. Walker’s book to life and I would recommend this book for a
nice short trip with an easy vibe.
Definite S.E.X.
