Blurb

Two years ago, when Vicki Hollister nursed war-wounded Clint and Sanford Mansfield back to health, they fell in love—or so Vicki thought. For her own good, they ended the relationship when they returned to duty. Their decision devastated her. Now they’re back and want her, but can she trust them with her fragile heart?

When Sanford hires her to run his mayoral campaign, their passion burns and desire reignites. The problem is, Vicki is the poster child for vanilla sex, and the totally buff brothers are Doms. She’s gained a lot of weight since their departure, and she fears they’ll not be attracted to her anymore.

All goes well until the men misstep, and Vicki believes she can never be their perfect sub.

Clint and Sanford will do anything to win back her love, even throw away their cuffs and blindfolds, but will it be enough?

Review

Two Doms for Vicki by Melody Snow Monroe, book nine of the Pleasure, Montana series further delved into the lives of those who worked and played in the small town of Pleasure. Brothers, Sanford and Clint have returned home from active duty after a two year absence with the hope that Vicki will accept them as her partners and Doms. Vicki, slightly unsure of herself and her body, knew one thing for sure; she loved both Clint and Sanford even if she was mad that they left her. Now back in her life, Vicki desired to have both men love her unconditionally.

Ms. Monroe wove an interesting tale as the male dominants were not as dominant as other books I have reviewed, but their attitudes worked perfectly in their desire to be with Vicki and create a loving relationship with her. Although vanilla sex was not their thing, they were willing to meet Vicki half way in her leeriness of submissiveness and slow the process of assimilation into the lifestyle.

Drama and suspense also added to the story as Ms. Monroe gave substance to the town’s residence. Two Doms for Vicki was not simply a tale of dominance and submissive but of love and acceptance. It described the lives of the people involved on a personal level and did not solely focus on sexual exploits. In saying that, though, the sex was well-written, explicit and stimulating to the senses.

Ms. Monroe permitted all the main characters to grow and mature in their feelings for each other and in the long-lasting relationship they hoped to forge. The patience exhibited in the author’s writing transcended to the characters as they found middle ground leading towards permanency.

Two Doms for Vicki kept me absorbed in the characters and intrigued for what was to come. I would highly recommend if you like hunky domineering men, strong women and a great sense of belonging.

Sexy and Sizzling.
