Meadows was a quick sexy read with a dose of mystery. Dax, alpha wolf and
detective, was charged with investigating the serial killings of bear shifters.
His one-time lover Adin, park ranger and also a bear shifter has placed himself
in Dax’s sights to assist him in solving the mystery. Little does Adin know
that doing so could also cost him his life.
Ms.
Meadows delivered just the right amount of suspense to the
sexy read as Dax and Adin attempt to solve the case. Both men were strong alpha
characters with the overwhelming need to protect the other. Especially Dax~ an attitude
which almost cost him Adin’s love.
The pace of the story was
well done, no insta-love, just the slow buildup of a former relationship into a
meaningful union naught with issues. Kudos! The sex was hot and the wolf-bear coupling
steamed the e-reader.
Easy and enjoyable read.
