A New Beginning for Angelo by Morticia Knight was a delightful addition to the Hampton Road Club series. Wonderfully written, Ms. Knight delivered tenderness and adoration in a short span of time with three very different characters.

Bruce and George, together for some time, desired a third to add to and enhance their relationship. The ‘muscle’ of the Hampton Road Club, the men enjoyed the lifestyle but sometimes found it difficult to submit to each other, both being dominants. Searching for the right third proved difficult and arduous, until they encountered Angelo in the back alley of a speakeasy. Recent arrival to California, Angelo was jilted by the man he loved and hoped to begin a life with. Fortunately for Angelo, Bruce and George jumped in to save the day, and soon Angelo discovered what real love was in the loving arms and tender ways of Bruce and George.

The two dominants were strong characters, the yin to each other’s yang. Their personalities melded and complimented, hard and soft, tender and  rough around the edges, the men fought for love, found it and desired to share their attributes with another.

I adored Bruce and George and their tough guy image, yet their hearts burst with love for each other and Angelo.

Angelo, although slightly naïve, learned to succumb to his desires and the lifestyle afforded him as part of a loving triad and a member of an exclusive community.

Morticia Knight never ceases to amaze me with her spot on historical attributes and the portrayal of her characters. A beautiful tribute to a life led in darkness in a time that was not roaring for all.

Reader Advisory: This book contains graphic battle scene violence and medical play, as well as references to rape and torture. There is also a scene involving urethral sounds.

Sci-Fi is not usually my cup of tea, and the first book in the Soul Match series started a little slow for me, but Morticia Knight has made a convert of this sci-fi rookie. Fighting for All, the final book in the Soul Match series was a culmination of an earth shattering, cataclysmic battle for the survival of humans and Alasharians.

Chris and his Alasharian mates must lead the final battle for the survival of the two species so that they may prosper in love and harmony on Earth. All the while the forces must join together to eradicate the Nall and the Void. As the new spiritual leader, chosen by Sha Sha Ar, Chris came to terms with his role in the rebellion and the fight for existence.

Lasar and Nary, Chris’s mates put sexy on the alien market as did all the Alasharian’s. Fighting for All was well-written and brought all the unanswered questions to the forefront and delivered answers and happy endings. All the characters from the previous books were intertwined in the final story, adding more realism to a battle hard fought. Through trials and tribulations, blood and tears, the soul matches met their enemy full force and destroyed the evil who threatened their new lives.

Ms. Knight delivered a wonderful book and series and I suggest reading from book one. I laughed. I cried. I cheered. An emotional roller coaster that left me satisfied yet yearning for more.

Switching Places by Morticia Knight was everything I’d hope in a Kiss of Leather book. Master Lucas, Tai, and Elliott were beautifully written characters due to Ms. Knight’s careful and eloquent style.

Each man presented himself with truth and a firm grasp of reality in their lifestyle venture of a threesome. 

Elliott’s quiet resolve and need for submission, Tai’s larger than life personality and yearning to switch, and Lucas’ strong will and determination, all let the men to a crossroad where their lives intersected, forming a union of mutual satisfaction. 

Morticia Knight wrote with sincerity and passion, thus endearing me to the three men even more. Kiss of Leather is a favored series and should be enjoyed post haste.

Terry’s ready for some pain that brings him pleasure 

The deeper Terry becomes immersed in a 24/7 dynamic with Phil, the more he realizes that he’s ready for them to be full-time. There might still be plenty to learn in his D/s journey with his Master, but he’s discovered a sense of peace and fulfillment he hadn’t known was possible. 

Phil can’t wait to show his boy how exquisite erotic pain can be. 

Phil couldn’t be more thrilled when Terry confesses his desire for them to take the next step in their Master/sub relationship, and he decides to explore some of Terry’s soft limits regarding pain. Once again, I found myself wavering between my feelings for Terry and Phil in Morticia Knight’s newest addition to her Play series, Pain Play. First let me say that the series must be read in order to appreciate the evolution of the world Ms. Knight created and the development of the characters. Additionally, no spoilers, so I will not speak of specifics in the book.

Terry has fully committed to a TPE relationship with Phil, but I found him a tad bit childish in his speak and expectations. Phil on the other hand seemed more unsure of himself in his ability to be Terry’s master and their journey appeared forced.

As always, I enjoy Ms. Knight and her works. This author is consistent in her ability to draw me into a book with great dialogue and captivating scenes. My issue was not with the book nor the style of writing, but more with the main characters. I do not think their new-found lifestyle will be for every reader, but I insist people take a chance and read the author’s works.

When Advisor Oman arrives on the scene to rescue Balor as he helps Graham to escape, it becomes clear that yet another alien/human triad is forming—even if Graham may never accept being bonded to two aliens after the trauma he’s endured at the hands of Alasharians.

The time has come to depart to the secret military complex where the human and Alasharian allies will stage their final assault against the Nall and the Void. Families are reunited and others torn apart as they prepare for battle. The allies fear what will become of them all if Chris, the special human Sha Sha Ar has chosen as their spiritual leader, is no longer there to guide them.

Reader advisory: This book contains scenes of battle violence, and mentions of rape and torture.

Surrendering for Two by Morticia Knight added depth and more understanding to her sci-fi series Soul Match. Graham, Balor, and Oman were the center of book four. Human Graham, a slave to the Alasharians under the spell of the Nall, escaped with the help of fellow humans and his soul match, Balor. Thrusted together in an unconventional time, Graham must learn to take on a new role in his life with the surviving humans and Alasharians.

I enjoyed the matchup of the three men. A different spin on their dynamics, the three found a synergy that worked for them sans interference of others and enabling them to satisfy the mating hum.

Ms. Knight kept me interested, but I felt as if the story abruptly ended. I’ll definitely be coming back for more, as more questions arose, the more I read.

Morticia Knight's A Master for Michael was everything I knew it would be and so glad I waited to read in its entirety. No one writes historical M/M romance at the inception of BDSM like Ms. Knight!

Michael and Javier were employed at The Hampton Road Club, both dallying in their feeling for each other and immersed into the world of sadomasochism. Leave it to sneaky and ever romantic Saul to give the two men the nudge they need to become Master and boy.

Javier was swoon-worthy~ large, muscled, exotic~ a contrast to the almost timid door greeter, who knew his job and what he wanted out of life. The two men just needed a little help in getting to that point.

Ms. Knight was well-researched. From her descriptors of the Roaring Twenties, to the language spoken by her characters.

Together, the interaction between Javier and Michael illuminated the pages as well as their relationship, thus making this novella a wonderful addition to the series.

Chris's cousin Morgan found himself under the protection of Rama, where he soon learned he was the soul match to not only Rama but Hallosh, the alien who rescued him from the pleasure party. Hiding from Two, book three in Morticia Knight's Soul Match series was a well written continuation of her aliens- invade- earth series. 

I found the dynamics between Morgan and his matches tender and delivered with tact and clarity. The two Alasharians were macho sans being over the top and loving to a fault. Their loving care with Morgan radiated through Ms. Knight's delivery, allowing the characters to flow.

The Nall and the Void became more volatile thus creating more uncertainty in the lives of Morgan, Chris, and their mates.

Sci-fi is usually not my thing, but Ms. Knight created such a world that was easy to understand and follow.

Bring on book four- I need to know the outcome.
