I just finished listening to A.E.Via’s Promises, The Bounty Hunters book 1. First a word or two about the book, before I discuss the narration.

Duke and Quick have been best friends forever; while Quick’s son Vaughn has been in love with his father’s best friend since Vaughn was in high school. First, that skeeved me a tad bit. The other thing that bothered me was Quick’s complete acceptance of his son dating his best friend- a man much older than his son. Maybe be a bit upset first, before finally relenting and wishing them well.

The medical aspect of the book was slightly unrealistic in its delivery. No spoilers, but the actions of all parties showed a lack of maturity for grown men, while at the same time demonstrating Vaughn’s devotion to Duke.

Now, the narration by Aiden Snow. Mr. Snow delivered a wonderful rendition as he changed his cadence and inflection to create the characters voices, giving each character a different spin.

Mr. Snow always does a beautiful job with his narrations, holding my attention and looking forward to his next read.

Nothing Special V by A. E. Via and narrated by Aiden Snow was a good addition to the series. God and Day, Steele and Tech, as well as all of the men of the special unit were eloquently portrayed by Mr. Snow. His narration brought the men to life, and I think he did a good job of differentiating the various voices of the men, as well as the delivery of information.

Being this was a long novel, the audiobook was slightly over 12 hours, so if you like listening for many hours, this series (and book) was for you.

The storyline was well done, and Aiden Snow brought the characters to life.

Narration well done.
