The New Hire by J.T. Hall was a sexual escapade filled with down and dirty sexual gratification for both parties involved. The second installment of The Hard Hat series placed us further into the lives of Gary and Tim. A bear of a dominant, Gary decided submissive Tim would be his to torture.

Ms. Hall’s characterization of Tim left my heart light and swelling. His submissive nature and compliant demeanor was everything Gary looked for in a sub. Honestly, at first I thought Gary would walk all over Tim―and Tim would allow it, but that was not the case. For a gruff man, Gary demonstrated a tender side emanating through in the way he treated Tim.

My only drawback Ms. Hall, I need more of Gary and Tim in a longer book. But, I look forward to reading another installment into their lives and seeing the direction the author takes in their unconventional relationship.

Brainy but beautiful Juliet has an annoying problem--her college classmate Russell keeps bugging her for a date. Juliet’s Orders by J.T. Hall was a sassy mix of school girl fantasy meets BDSM. Russell annoyed Juliet to no end. Constantly pestering the studious girl for dates, Russell goads Juliet into taking a bet. When Russell lost the bet, Juliet took over their date and both parties won in the end.

J.T. Hall wrote of discipline and control as the descriptors of Juliet’s mannerisms and kinks were forthright and descriptive. A strong woman, Juliet lacked neither brains nor power, and utilized them to her fullest advantage.

Russell, for all his macho-demeanor, lost himself in relinquishing control to Juliet~ a true sense of strength.

Short and sensual, J.T. Hall delivered a read worth diving into.
