S.E.X. Review~ Lover by TM Smith

Lover – A Survivor story

Life has not always been kind to Shannon Dupree. On the outside he’s carefree and fun loving, but when it comes to his past he’s evasive and secretive. Running away from emotionally bereft parents at just fifteen, Shannon escapes life with them but steps into the waiting arms of the devil.

Rory Landers is a rising star at the Bureau. His personal life, however, is nothing to write home about. He hopes to take his limited relationship with Frank Moore to the next level when they finally solve the Langford murder case, but that doesn’t turn out as planned. On the plus side, he meets free-spirited college senior Shannon Dupree.

Rand Davis finds himself fortysomething and single when his partner of more than a decade is unfaithful. Taking over the Cold Case Squad frees up some of his time, and Rand welcomes newfound friendships within the Langford-Moore family circle. He thinks relationships are not in the cards for him until he meets an agent with an attitude and a vivacious blond that make him want so much more.

Past, present, pain, and suffering collide, ushering in the possibility of a life and love worth fighting for. Although their personalities couldn't be more different, their three hearts beat the same. Shannon, Rory, and Rand learn the definition of love, commitment, and strength and if they allow themselves, the trio will find all that and more—in each other.

TM Smith’s follow-up to Survivor, Lover was a wonderful addition to the trilogy. Shannon, Rory, and Rand were electric not only in the sexual department, but everyday life.

The veil of secrecy following the main characters from their persona of book one came to a forefront. Now that as readers, we know who all the players are, the story was able to take off and drive itself through Ms. Smith’s careful pen.

I adored Shannon and his survival attitude. Rand and Rory were stoic men and brought forth a stability to the story. Together, the three men united and were stronger in the end.

The drama was well written and the story flowed. I’m loving this series and can’t wait for the next book. Ms. Smith’s style of writing draws the reader in and captivates. I couldn’t get enough!

S.E.X. Review~ Survivor by TM Smith

Taylor Langford’s world is torn apart when he is only thirteen years old—his parents killed, leaving him alone and orphaned. With no living relatives, he’d certainly be another statistic if not for the intervention of the policeman who found Taylor in the crawl space where his mother hid him that fateful night. Despite the tragedy and resulting anguish in his life, Taylor knows how lucky he is.

Frank Moore is a rookie with the Dallas Police Department when he and his partner answer a call in Devonshire, one of the city’s more affluent neighborhoods. They think the young boy in various pictures throughout the home has been kidnapped until they find him, shaken but alive. Officer Moore recognizes the pain in the kid’s eyes, having lost his own mother to cancer when he was just a boy. He steps in, making sure Taylor is placed with a loving foster family. Over the years, Frank becomes a permanent fixture in Taylor’s life.

A decade later, the case remains unsolved and the once gangly, uncertain teenager is now a college graduate who knows exactly what he wants. He’s coming home to the man that helped mold and shape his life, the man he’s loved for as long as he can remember, Frank Moore. But Taylor isn’t the only person returning to Dallas, and while Frank is distracted by his own conflicting feelings and the new bond growing between the two, the past creeps up on them, determined to finish what was started ten years earlier.

I found many things about TM Smith’s book Survivor interesting. The suspense, the secrecy surrounding Taylor’s family, the love affair between Frank and Taylor; all the elements added to the creation of a good book.

Taylor lost his family at the tender age of thirteen, which in of itself threw me for a loop, because without reading the blurb, I would have thought he’d be much younger (no spoilers, but the manner his mother made him hide).

Officer Frank Moore and his partner saved the young man and became permanent fixtures in his life. Eventually, Frank realized he had feelings for Taylor and upon the proper age, acted on them.

Ms. Smith wrote of family and love. Not always the family of birth, but the one we create can sometimes be the most important piece to the puzzle in helping to ground a person. Taylor, his foster parents, Frank, and their extended family & friends became the driving force in raising a well-rounded young man with a bright future.

The May-December romance explained Taylor’s life from the time of his natural parents’ demise to the present day. From there, the book moved very quickly and the romance between Frank and Taylor flourished.

I enjoyed the main characters’ story and look forward to the second book in the trilogy.

S.E.X. Review~ Live for Love by TM Smith

Beauregard Boudreaux is a native of New Orleans Louisiana, born and raised there, he never thought he would ever stray far from home. The untimely death of his first love left Beau lost, adrift, looking for a place as far away from the pain as possible. Initially, he came to New York to visit a friend, the city growing on him, so he decided to stay. His law degree comes in handy at the LGBT Center he runs, but his bar is his baby.

William Richards grew up in Chicago, his family oddly normal and very accepting of his sexuality. Modeling paid the bills, gigs across the country as a model, male entertainer and a personal trainer giving him the opportunity to see the world. He hasn’t experienced loss or pain as Beau has, the common denominator between them is the loneliness. As All Cocks big, brooding bottom Connor, William has found friendship, family and an outlet for his craving to be more submissive than men of his size and stature usually are.

The two men are perfect for each other, their tastes and lives align and the writing seems to be on the wall. But Beau has a secret he shares with a choice few, a secret that not only threatens to keep them apart, it’s deadly. Determined to keep a wall between himself and William, Beau fights the attraction, pushes William away every time he steps closer. Can one man’s determination and strength be enough to tear down a wall that holds back decades of pain and darkness? And if he can, will either of them survive the flood?

Disclaimer: This book is the fictional story of a man living with HIV. I have put a lot of time and effort into presenting this story as true to fact as possible, without going into gory or gruesome detail. If this subject is a trigger for you, you may want to skip this read. But my hope is that you give Beau a chance to capture your heart as he has mine, and William’s.

Every time I read a new All Cocks story by TM Smith I think it cannot get any better, and then the talented author proved me wrong. Live for Love was exceptionally written and dedicated to a sensitive topic in a world where love doesn’t always come easy.

Beau, a lawyer, owner of a pub and founder of a youth center for LGBTQ has lived with HIV for over a decade, infected by his onetime partner, now deceased. Beau had closed himself off to emotions and relationships, frightened of loving and losing again. William, porn star for All Cocks had set his sights on the lovely Cajun and with both barrels went for the man until Beau finally relented and went out with him. The rest was a happy ending with ups and downs, but worth the adventure.

Ms. Smith delivered a beautiful story of love still out there, even when you are fighting silent demons that could potentially rear its ugly head. The author did a wonderful and well- researched job of illustrating the importance of safe sex and the knowledge needed when a person is HIV positive and/or dating someone with the virus. Ms. Smith spared no details, no matter how sensitive in educating her readers that life can go on with proper precautions.

As always, the men of All Cocks, were supportive and loving~ their make shift family~ endearing and quite capable of handling any challenge. Ms. Smith does a nice job of not forgetting her past main characters and allowed them to traverse the new storyline while still keeping true to the message. Mattie, Victor, Chris, Andrew, all the men of All Cocks, worm their way into any reader’s heart and hold a special place.

William and Beau had chemistry both in personality and sexually. The two men deserved what they desired~ a loving partner coupled with a loving family.

S.E.X. Review~ Dare to Hope by TM Smith

Dare to Hope
An All Cocks story

Tristan is the second oldest of the Brennan brothers and the odd man out. Most of the Brennan men have careers in law enforcement, but as a psychiatrist, Tristan chooses to help people in a different way. Quiet and restrained, he is content to hover in the background of his more gregarious brothers. Then he meets two men, each broken and damaged from losses beyond their control.

Gabriel Simenson is mourning his lover’s death. The random act of violence that took Gio’s life has left everyone at All Cocks reeling. The only thing keeping Gabe from drowning in misery is the friendship he’s forged with Micah, the newest model at All Cocks. He continues to struggle, and at the urging of his All Cocks family Gabe agrees to counseling with Tristan under one condition: Micah must go with him.

Micah Solo can relate to unbearable loss, having lost his leg and so much more in Iraq. The past two years he has been alone, adrift and vulnerable — the memories of war haunting his dreams, spilling over into his daily life. At All Cocks, Micah has found the acceptance he craves and the family he lost, but still he yearns for happiness and peace within.

The friendship between the three is instant, the mutual attraction evident. They circle each other, wanting more, yet unsure if it is truly possible. Is life the mundane reality they’ve each come to accept for themselves or do they dare to hope?

The All Cocks Stories is a series set within the world of online gay porn.

*Warning* Micah’s PTSD is told in detail, including flashbacks to his time in Iraq.
This book is an MMM Menage

I’ve enjoyed each book in the All Cocks series but Dare to Hope was by far my favorite. The end of books 3 left us with the inclination of another throuple in Micah, Gabe, and Tristan and TM Smith knocked it out of the park.

While all three men were different, they were also very complimentary of each other. The fun-loving Gabe, stoic Micah, and strong and solid Tristan- each a third of a triad formed a friendship and relationship.

Ms. Smith accentuated the slow build of the friendship which formed between the men allowing things to traverse through moments of life’s hardships and life’s most thrilling moments. It was apparent that care was utilized when Ms. Smith carved out her characters as family and love were at the forefront of the story.

The secondary characters~ the Brennan’s, Victor, Andrew and Mattie and the rest of the All Cocks boys~ all added to the appeal.

Sensitive issues~ PTSD, loss of love~ all subjects handled with sensitivity, delivering the realism encountered when facing the crisis. Kudos Ms. Smith.

S.E.X. Review~ All Cocks Boxed Set by TM Smith

All Cocks stories is a series of books that will be set within the world of online gay porn. From straight 'Gay for Pay' models, to threesomes and so much more, you are welcome to join us at All Cocks INC for a series of stories about the men that work both in front of, and behind the camera.

Book 1 - Gay for Pay
This is the first book in an exciting new series that is set within the world of online gay porn.
Gay for Pay tells the story of a man who has lost his way in life, finding himself outside the doors of All Cocks INC. a trending site in the gay porn industry. What will Chris do when he meets a man that turns him on, even when the camera is off?

*Advisory warning. This story briefly mentions issues such as drinking and driving, vehicular manslaughter, someone being drugged, a very brief mention of a previous sexual assault (no descriptives of said assault) these warnings are for anyone that has triggers. They are not a part of the storyline itself, only mentioned here and there.*

Book 2 - Fame and Fortune
Victor Dimir and Andrew Jones met and fell in love in college. Ten years later their relationship is stronger than ever, they don't even realize there is a piece missing until a broken and troubled young man stumbles into their lives.
Matthew Carlson has been violated and abused mentally, physically and emotionally simply because of who he is. Jobless and homeless, Matthew comes across a flyer that will not only change his life, but bring him the love he has always dreamed of, two fold.

*Warning* This book contains a scene of sexual assault.

Book 3 - How to Deal
Jon Brennan comes from a long line of men in uniform, all born and bred to both bleed and wear blue.
Kory White is cocky and abrasive with most people, but is is all a mirage, a facade he has strategically built around himself to keep his heart safe.
Can these two strong willed men learn how to deal with the demands of each others professional lives, find balance and the happiness they both deserve?

*Warning* All the books in this series are intended for mature audiences only due to content, occasional violence and some oh so hot, steamy, sweaty sex between 2 or more consenting adult males. If this doesn't appeal to you, perhaps continue your search for something more to your liking.

All Cocks series by TM Smith was a sexy yet unusual ride. Set in the world of gay porn, I found the premise both interesting and captivating at the same time. Each book in the series took the reader through the trials and tribulations of the men who sexually performed in front of the camera for money.

Book 1~ Gay for Pay~ Chris and Lincoln steamed the sheets as their on screen performances turned into an off screen romance. What started out as gay for pay became the admission of bisexuality and the love of a man.

Book 2~ Fame and Fortune~ The reader learned how Victor and Andrew began the business of All Cocks and how the couple became a throuple with the addition of Mattie to their circle of love. I adored Ms. Smith's characterization of the three men, especially Vic. I became vested in their lives as a triad and individually, wanting to swaddle Mattie in bubble wrap, keeping him safe and secure.

Book 3~ How to Deal~ Meet Kory and Jon; porn star with a chip on his shoulder and the police officer who fell in love with him. No spoilers, but some tear jerking moments with a surprise ending and the introduction to the next book.

All three books brought something different to the table. Each couple (or throuple) were committed to the cause of furthering their careers and love life. Not understanding the world of porn, my view was one of seedy underbelly and nefarious undertakings. Ms. Smith delivered a beautifully written rendition of unconventional career, love, and family. The camaraderie displayed added to the nuance of the makeshift family with Vic and Andrew and the patriarchal figureheads.

Even though I enjoyed each book for the aspect it brought to the series, I especially liked Fame and Fortune. Victor, Andrew, and Mattie were beautifully written and truly demonstrated a relationship triad could work. Besides, who wouldn’t love a talk, dark vampire-like lover with a killer accent?

All Cocks series was worth the read, running the emotional gambit and a roller coaster ride.
