perfect Christmas addition to the Harrisburg Railers series. Ten and
Jared were already parents to a precocious little lady (and of course Jared’s
son Ryker) but adding to their family seemed like the right time.
The men soon were foster parents to two boys, one who quickly took to
the family and one who was a hard sell. I loved the strength Ten and Jared
displayed in making the boys feel wanted sans buying their affection. And of
course, it helped that their darling daughter took right to the boys.
What Scott & Locey created with the Railers series was a family
affair surrounded by love and acceptance and of course threw in a good dose of
hockey. The authors never failed to include characters from previous books as
to keep within their world building.
Perfect Gifts made me smile; not at all cheesy like
some Christmas tropes, but a melt your heart story with a wonderful future for
all.
