I loved Until Forever Comes by Cardeno C.! With each book in the Mate series, the author further demonstrates her ability to compose sensitivity and sensuality into the characters.

Although completely opposite and of different paranormal worlds, Miguel and Ethan traversed all known prejudices and stigmas to gain control of their lives- together.

Ethan’s quiet resolve was enhanced by his alpha-vampire and gave him the ability to soothe the man in times of turmoil. Soft-spoken and quietly fierce, Ethan was the perfect mate for hot-headed Miguel.

Cardeno C. navigated the difficult life Miguel and Ethan were destined to endure and through her writing the two formed the bond of a timeless love story.

The author’s infusion of prejudices and preconceived notions lent itself to the reality that surrounds us in today’s society. Judging someone based on traditional values only stands to hurt all those involved.

Until Forever Comes taught life lessons~ always be open to what you don’t truly know, because you never know when “the one” is right in front of you.

Until Forever Comes was narrated by Charlie David. Mr. David was a superb orator.  Every fluctuation in his voice brought the characters to life, especially Ethan. As he recited Ethan’s inner-monologues, I was transported to Ethan’s world and saw events unfold through his eyes. If I loved Cardeno C.’s voice for Ethan in the written word, the spoke hit it out of the park.

Walk With Me was a fantastic read as an e-book and even better as an audio book. Cardeno C. always delivers a remarkable story with love, angst and realism that never leaves a reader bereft or lacking.

Seth and Eli are the adoring couple of Temple Beth Shalom, but not without a rough start.

Eli was hysterical and listening to Alexander Collins narrate the story and the inflection in his voice, made Eli leap off the pages and into my living room. Cardeno C. brought life in a Jewish family into the forefront of my existence and into my heart. Seth and Eli rank up in the top five most adorable couples.

A heavy-duty crush by young Eli Block for Seth Cohen eventually led to a life of bliss and love as Seth finally succumbs to Eli’s sex-appeal and persistence.

There were so many things I loved about this book. The start of the chapter’s mini quips which set the stage for what was to come; the crazy themed weddings which always ended in a funny disaster; or Eli’s very meddling Jewish mother who adored her son and Seth.

Walk With Me could be anyone’s family, fun-filled and loving, Cardeno C. brought humor into a sexy read and delivered SEX.

Cardeno C. has a way of creating a story that immediately draws the reader and hold the attention. Perfect Imperfection was just that book. A story of unforeseen journeys, Cardeno C.  created a metamorphosis of characters and plot.  For all the fame Jeremy’s name and rock star livelihood has brought him, the man lived a lonely existence. No real friends except his staff and the groupies who want to bed a rock star to make a name for themselves~ Jeremy is tired and lonely.

Reggie, extroverted bar tender with a degree in business is larger than life and full of adventure. What Cardeno C. created when she brought the two men together was a tale of friendship and trust with a dash of passion and desire.

The clarity of the two souls, Jeremy and Reg, as they navigated the tide of friendship and destiny was eloquently written by a master story teller. Perfect Imperfections told the tale of finding the light at the end of every tunnel, taking a challenge head first and always coming out for the better on the other side. No one is perfect but as long as there is acceptance and a willingness to create a bond, love truly conquers all.

I could not put this book down until I had read the entire thing. I became entrenched and absorbed in the lives of Jeremy and Reg. I wanted to wipe the insecurities from Jeremy’s brow and hug Reg every time he embraced Jeremy, delivering strength and trust.

I smiled, laughed and cried as I got to know Jeremy and Reg through the eyes of the author and the men themselves. A beautifully written story traversing the emotional connection of friends and lovers, Perfect Imperfections has earned a place on this reviewer’s Favorite Reads!

Never a fan of audio books, Cardeno C. has won this skeptic over. Having read more than one book read by numerous readers for Ms. C’s creations, Charlie Davis captivated my attention with his sultry voice and the ability to make me connect with each character. I felt every nuance permeate through the characterization and angst of the main characters. A well-read story that places the reader in the moment.

Heartache and anguish gave way to strength and love in Cardeno C.’s new story Strange Bedfellows. What happens when you mix a closeted-conservative Republican and an openly gay Democratic billionaire? — a combustion of epic proportions and the book that has soared to the top of this reader’s must-read list.

Ford Hollingsworth lives in a world when the righteous will inherit the earth, not necessarily the homosexual, yet he also knows in his heart God would never create someone He didn’t love. Confused and alone, Ford meets Trevor Moga, out and proud who just happens to have a hatred of all things political and is the only son of the President and First Lady.

Ford and Trevor are immediately drawn to each other and passion ensues. Cardeno C. delivered witty banter and ease between the two main characters. The dialogue added warmth and depth to the story as did the secondary characters. Ford’s parents, with all their reservations, still demonstrated a parent’s unconditional love for their child—their feelings aside.

Cardeno C.’s characterization of Trevor brought a smile to my face and lightened my heart. Trevor’s gentleness as he took Ford into his arms, soothing him and opening his eyes to a world of freedom where physical love is precious and revered was beautifully written. The author’s voice allowed for Trevor and Ford to grow together as a couple but also as individuals with widely different views on life, yet both yearning for the same thing.

A story of love of life, love of fellow man and love of family—with all they bring—the easy and hard, the laughter and the tears, Strange Bedfellows is about opening yourself to the possibilities life throws at you and latching onto the opportunities that land at your feet.

Do I love a Cardeno C. book? Yes! One word of advice, have a few tissues handy because Cardeno C. writes emotional turmoil and transfers it to the reader like no other. Caught in her beautifully written expression, the author gently creates a masterpiece with the reader in a voyeuristic background watching the story unfold.

Strange Bedfellows is narrated by Ron Herczig and a lovely job he did. The variety of character voices was distinguishable and the inflections in Mr. Herczig’s voice at the appropriate times allowed me to listen effortlessly and follow the storyline.
