Blurb
Hunt saboteur Rae can’t believe his luck when he wakes up the next morning. Cash is gorgeous, and the hottest hook up he’s ever had. He doesn’t expect to see him again, until a twist of fate lands him on Cash’s doorstep a few months later.
United by a cause that’s broken Cash before, they are drawn together. They have more in common than they ever imagined, but with Cash haunted by the past, and Rae so tangled in the present, it’s not long before love isn’t enough to keep them alive.

When not writing, Garrett can generally be found procrastinating on Twitter, cooking up a storm, or sitting on her behind doing as little as possible, all the while shouting at her menagerie of children and animals and attempting to tame her unruly and wonderful FOX.

I was fascinated by the blurb of Garrett Leigh’s new book, Cash.
People who sabotaged fox hunts and all that they entail interested this reader.
I will admit I knew and nothing about this “sport”- which I say loosely- and
still do not understand it. But, having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed Cash
and Ms. Leigh’s writing.
Cash and Rae were destined to meet, whether through
the random hookup or the sabbing they participated in to save fox, hound, and
horse. The book had it all. Intrigue, drama, an air of apprehension, and of
course romance. What I most found interesting and logical, was the slow burn of
the budding relationship between Cash and Rae. Aside from the initial hookup,
the author delivered a careful building of a very tangible relationship. Both
men, entrenched in their beliefs and hurt in the past, worked together through
relationship trials and the tribulations of their chosen assignments.
Knowing nothing about fox hunting nor being from the
UK, I had a hard time with some of the verbiage, but this did not deter me from
enjoying the book. Ms. Leigh has a
style all unto herself, one that does not follow a traditional M/M writer,
writing more of a story, than an expose on M/M sex.
As with the first book in this trilogy (Lucky), Cash was worth the read!
Definite S.E.X.
