I can not say this enough, but if I wanted to read a raw and gritty book, whether it be M/M or not, Garrett Leigh would be my go-to author.

Forgive Me Father, Rebel Kings MC was all that I expected and hoped in a Ms Leigh novel. A continuation of the men of the Rebel Kings, FMF was the story of Embry and Mateo. In the previous novels, the men danced around each other, and it would be inevitable for them to finally find their way to each other, but the road was not an easy one. Full of secrets, hardships, and nefarious dealing attempting to break the Kings to shreds, the men must undertake obstacles if they wanted to create a life together in the midst of their brothers.

Embry was the MC chaplain, a sensitive soul with an ironclad will, he kept the secrets of members in addition to his own. Little did he know that the biggest secret which Mateo kept to himself could potentially tear the entire club apart.

I know these men are rough, even killers, but Ms. Leigh has a way of making the reader fall for them regardless of their sins. She gave them dimension that radiated throughout their own story and the intertwining of the others. Even in the middle of a turf war love can be found.

All the men of the Rebel Kings deserve their HEA, and I look forward to being regaled by their stories.

Saint’s Song by Garrett Leigh was gritty and sensational. Part of the Rebel Kings MC series, I highly recommend the books be read in order, starting with Devil’s Dance.

Saint was the Sergeant at Arms to Cam’s leadership of the MC. Alexi, Cam’s lover, protector, and all-around assassin, rounded the trio. There were so many things I loved about the book. Ms Leigh never glossed over the tumultuous dealings or relationships MC’s had. The author delivered authenticity of the nefarious undertakings and dangerous world the men and women lived in.

Additionally, the turmoil the men experienced in the club and their relationship was bold and brash.

I loved Saint, as I did in the first book. His quiet yet strong demeanor radiated throughout the pages whether he was gently loving one of his men or fighting to save the club he loved so much. A polyamorous relationship, the men never faltered in their need for one another or the way they tried to protect each other. Nothing is more sexy than men getting their heads out of their as…es, no matter what the circumstances, and admitting their need and love.

Garrett Leigh can turn any setting and create a tale to be remembered. Her dark romances are just dark enough because of the realism added.

All I can say is Wow! Devil’s Dance by Garrett Leigh was fantastic. Gritty and emotional, this book kept me on the edge of my seat and completely engrossed. Ms. Leigh is an auto read for me and this book did not disappoint. Bikers Cam, Saint, and the rest of the club were larger than life and complicated characters. Alexi, elusive new lover and man with special talents was also a force to reckon with.

The motorcycle club was dirty and edgy- lots of twists and turns. Ms. Leigh always astonishing me with her uncanny knack to hook me into a story like a baby bird to its momma- not for the faint of heart. Rebel Kings MC was not a wine and roses love story, but a cast of characters surviving life, stigmas, and just maybe if you find someone to understand you and have your back- all the better.

A successful and satisfying ending to the present story, Ms. Leigh left the door wide open for the second book in her new series.

Yes, please- tell me more about Saint.

I adored Rami and Fen in Garret Leigh’s Christmas Mountain. This feel-good story was emotional and uplifting.

Unforeseen tragedy destroyed any chance of the once coworker’s potential relationship- but karma brought them back together. Rami showed up on Christmas Mountain with his nephew in tow, searching for a place to lay down his head even though his initial timetable left him unsure of anything. Fen was a breath of fresh air.

The slow burn of romance between Fen and Rami radiated throughout and left this reader cheering for them and the potential of a love match. Sometimes quick to the sack is not what I yearn, and this story was perfectly delivered. Even though they were opposites, under the careful guidance of Ms. Leigh- it worked!

The secondary characters only enhanced the story and left me smiling. I loved everything about this book.

If you are a fan of the Darkest Skies series, you do not have to read the other books to read Christmas Mountain, but I would highly recommend reading them to get the full lovely effect.

Gritty and raw. Two words that described Garrett Leigh’s Deliverance - part of the Darkest Skies series. Ms. Leigh never failed to capture my attention with her numerous books, and Deliverance hit all the marks.

Gang life on the streets was tough and cruel, and Benito knew it all too well. Meeting Mickey and the security of his sister and mother, gave Beni a new look on life; one that involved leaving the past behind.

Of course, not everything went as planned, and Ms. Leigh took the reader on an emotional rollercoaster that tethered on the precipice of disaster.

I appreciated Ms. Leigh addressing the jargon used in the book, as an American reader, I am not always familiar with the slang. This allowed me to stay focused on the story and not have to surmise the meaning.

Ms. Leigh is a wonderful storyteller of grit and emotion, hitting the mark on enveloping the reader and crating a world that came to life.

Benito and Mickey were wonderfully written, nothing held back, and emotionally charged.

Deliverance was a winner and one to not be missed.

It doesn’t take either of them long to give in to desire and discover the fiery passion they once shared burns hotter than ever. With each new touch, each moment of forgiveness, old hurts heal and the future they’d hoped for ten years ago becomes possible again. But their fragile connection is tested by a threat neither of them saw coming—a threat that could end their second chance before it even gets started.

This reader is an adoring fan of Garrett Leigh and all her works but Forgiven did not do it for me. The writing, as always, was well done and developed, but the premise and the characters were not there.

Sweethearts as teens, Mia and Luke were supposedly hot and heavy- right there the mere idea turned me off. You were teenagers and sure you can fall in love, but the kind of love they professed just didn’t work if it was to believe they were each other’s everything. The entire story was based on Mia’s anger for Luke leaving and joining the Navy and never saying goodbye. She knew he joined the Navy, and I would assume a leave date- you do not join the military from one day to the next without knowing weeks to months in advance when you are leaving. I guess I didn’t buy the story that he slinked off in the night.

Mia’s anger resonated throughout the story and by God woman, give it a rest! No, she chose to harp and never let it go. Additionally, I found Luke a sniveling personality.

Unfortunately, I never felt forgiveness in this story and as much as I love a Ms. Leigh tale, this one did not do it for this reader.

Whenever I read a Garrett Leigh book I know I get powerful and provocative writing and characters. Add to it a Christmas theme and I know with 100% assuredness that the story line will leave me wanting more. Angels in the City was just that. To coin this book as a feel-good holiday story would not do it justice. It was a powerful story of a flawed yet formidable man, Sasha, who found something more than what he bargained for.

Sasha and Jonah worked in the same building, yet really never ran into each other until a brief interlude on the elevator led to a fake date at a ballroom party, and then …..beyond.

Ms. Leigh can write dark and flawed characters and Sasha fit the bill. His slight egocentrism, his Russian accent-which I heard in my head- and his cavalier attitude, gave him an air of pompous ass with a sinister past and I loved him! This man captured my attention, as he did Jonah’s.

Jonah was rich, intelligent, and sensitive. He also fell hard for the Russian and jumped with both feet first. Their relationship started out purely sexual, but soon turned introspective as it evolved. The characterization flourished and Ms. Leigh once again delivered a story worth reading. I was so enthralled that I wanted to dive in the pages of the book and become a part of the story. My only drawback, I wanted more. More Sasha and Jonah. More pages to the book. More, more, more to come because this reader needs a book 2, and maybe a book 3. Ms. Leigh turned my brain inside out, that in my mind’s eye the world she created in one story became a series.

Thank you, Garrett Leigh, for creating the book that reached top three on my reading list of M/M romance.

The Sex Coach by Garrett Leigh was a stand alone, but to get the full impact of the dynamics of the men living on the rescue horse farm, I would recommend reading the Skins Boxed series. As a reader and fan of Ms. Leigh, you will not be disappointed.

Toby worked on the farm for the better part of a decade. The stable boy and all-around handy man, this shy boy kept to himself and really knew nothing of love. That was until Cole moved to the farm as a physio instructor, a man with much baggage and little confidence in himself.

Both characters were so much more than the initial, it’s learning about sex for Toby and I’ll teach you for Cole. Ms. Leigh created flawed characters with inner wounds that ran deep enough to affect their everyday lives and encounters. The Sex Coach was a slow journey of acceptance and finding the one person who was made to calm your soul.

The patience both men had with each other was delivered aptly, yet with realistic bumps in the road. The secondary characters from previous books only added to the appeal of the overall storyline and kept this reader absorbed and intrigued.

A good Ms. Leigh book is one I won’t put done, and TSC hit all the marks.

I enjoyed each story as we caught a glimpse into the men’s lives as separate human beings and as couples. Each person brought a realism to their storyline and the others, that gave way to drama, friendship, and love. Ms. Leigh caught this reader off guard as to how much I became invested in their stories. Just when I thought I loved one couple, another would pop up and make me smile even wider. By far, Dylan and Angelo tugged at my heartstrings.

Ms. Leigh wove their tales together that created four separate stories with a single purpose.

A must read from start to finish.

Redemption is an angsty, stand-alone M/M romance novel, with second chances, found family, friends-to-lovers, and buckets of hurt/comfort themed loveliness.

Redemption by Garrett Leigh was a dark and emotional roller coaster. Not your typical romance- edgy infused with patches of love.

Luis Pope, recently released from prison, needed a new start apart from the thug life in his brother’s gang. Quiet, reserved, a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders, Luis simply desired peace.

Paolo ran the café once owned by his grandparents- kept tradition alive- but worked himself to sickness. Luis entered his establishment like a man on a mission, but with no mission to attain.

Ms. Leigh brought together two vastly different men on the surface, yet very similar at the same time. Each man brought forth his own set of insecurities, however for some reason they synched. Ms. Leigh’s writing ability delivered characters that on the surface should have stayed miles apart from each other, but her carefully placed words gave credence to opposites do attract and everyone deserves a second chance.

What I most enjoyed about the book, was the fact that since the book revolved around gangs and nefarious dealings, she never sugar-coated what the outcomes could be. Yes, Luis and Paolo found love and created a lifeline to each other, but it was done tastefully and realistically. There were no flowers and little hearts in your eyes. The curve balls of life, the expectations of family, and the hope to find something better surrounded the pages of Luis and Paolo’s story.

The sadness and sorrow permeated throughout and kept me interested in the hopes that all would work out. I hated characters, I loved characters, but never did I want to put the book down and walk away. Ms. Leigh has a way of capturing the reader, drawing them into the story, and keeping you on the edge of your seat.

A must read. Redemption was …..

I loved Mr. Calley's narration of Redemption. I had no idea what Luis and Paolo would sound like, but as soon as the story began, the men jumped through my e-reader and I was transported into their lives. The angst filled story created by Garrett Leigh came alive as each character spoke and the vocalization ensued. The descriptors were vivid and only enhanced by the storyteller.

Paolo's grandfather was even more enigmatic and energetic that originally told through the written word- kudos Mr. Calley for bringing him alive.

A sure-fire winner!
