Ludo Giordano is trapped on the ward with a bunch of old men. His mind plays tricks on him, keeping him awake. Then late one night, a new face brings a welcome distraction. Their unlikely friendship is addictive. And, like most things in Ludo’s life, temporary.
Back in the real world, Aidan’s monochrome existence is no longer enough. He craves the colour Ludo brought him, and when a chance meeting brings them back together, before long, they’re inseparable again.
But bliss comes with complications. Aidan is on the road to recovery, but Ludo has been unwell his entire life, and that’s not going to change. Aidan can kiss him as much as he likes, but if he can’t help Ludo when he needs him most, they don’t stand a chance.
"Kiss Me Again is a deliciously tender and prickly romance about the intimacy that comes with acceptance. Ludo and Aidan accept and love each other for exactly who they are—complications, injuries, mental health issues, moods—and I loved them for it." -- Roan Parish

I
would not classify Kiss Me Again by Garrett Leigh an M/M romance.
More a book about mental illness, as the story was overrun and dominated by one
of the main character's bipolar disorder.
Ludo,
MC1 lived a fairly productive life, existing with bipolar and the
manic/depressive episodes that came with the MI. During one such episode, Ludo
was hospitalized and treated in order to get him to an even keel where he could
function again on his own. Aidan was a tree surgeon and an unfortunate accident
landed him in a crippling way in the same hospital ward in which Ludo resided.
Curiosity set in as the two men waded through murky waters and began a
friendship of survival in the hospital, more than a friendship of desire.
As
time went by and both men were discharged, they saw each other in the small
town which they resided and took a chance to start seeing each other in a quasi-social
atmosphere.
I
loved the slow build up of friendship as portrayed by Ms. Leigh. I
additionally admired the careful way the author portrayed Ludo and his illness,
seemingly attempting to build up his character and give the man respect and dignity.
Aidan,
on the other hand, slightly rubbed me the wrong way. I got the sense he cared
for Ludo, and the author did a good job of said conveyance, but his overall
careless attitude concerning himself and others (except Ludo) did not sit well
with this reader.
Kiss
Me Again
did not sensationalize mental illness, but brought an awareness. My
five handcuff review is not done so on a sexual nature, but rather the
diplomatic fashion Ms. Leigh wrote Ludo’s story.
Definite
S.E.X.
