Four best-selling authors bring you their own take on the vampire lover’s story.
In Out of Time by Clare London, the ancient vampire Ambrus tries to protect Edward, a newly-turned young man, hoping to bring him comfort, acceptance of his fate, and eventually love.
In Christmas for a Vampire by Ruby Moone, grief-stricken vampire, Ellis Davenport, faces a miserable, lonely life when it seems the love of his life prefers death to eternity with him.
In A Tale Told in Darkness by Sue Brown, Lee comforts his lover with the tale of Brook, a vampire who falls for his neighbour Michael. When the young man is pursued by someone far more dangerous, only Brook can save him.
In Lamb to the Slaughter by Joanna Chambers, there is very little Lucien St. Villiers enjoys more than hunting for beautiful young men who are eager to learn all that Lucien has to teach them.
Please note: these stories may also be individually available for purchase at various times. This collection is a special event for 2019.

Bite was a compilation
of short vampire stories by Clare London, Sue Brown, Joanna Chambers, and
Ruby Moone. Each tale took a pairing and delivered a sweet read.
Out
of Time
by C. London brought Ambrose and Edward from war through the century, lost
and then found. Edward’s constant searching for something more always led him
away from Ambrus, but years later, always right back to him. Little did Edward
know, that what he was searching for all along was the vampire in front of him.
Sweet and loving, Ambrus and Edward’s love story was the classic lost lovers
eventually reunited. (4 handcuffs)
Christmas
for a Vampire
by Ruby Moone was sadly sweet. Ellis and Quinn fought. In war and were separate by death. Many years
go by and Ellis still pines for the man he wanted to spend his life with.
Uncontrollable circumstances kept the men apart until they found each other
again. This sweet tale hit all the buttons and kept the notion true love does
exist. (4 handcuffs)

Tale Told in Darkness by Sue Brown was the most emotional of the
short stories and the one which reduced this reader to tears. Cal and Lee were
lovers who loved to tell stories. One such story Lee told Cal in the dark was
of Brook and Michael, destined to be together, even if one was vampire and the
other human. Ms. Brown delivered gritty and an emotional roller coaster
that stood out amongst the other stories. I would love to see this story
expanded! (5 handcuffs)
Lamb
to the Slaughter
by Joanna Chambers delivered an unsuspecting twist to the pairing of
Lucien and Marcus. No spoilers, but remember looks could be deceiving and sweet
& innocent may not truly be. A quick story, Ms. Chambers kept me
interested.
Overall,
each story delivered a different perspective on vampires and the “life” led.
Whether the interaction with fellow vampires or humans, the authors did a nice
job of bringing life to their stories and creating a world in few pages.
