S.E.X. Review~ Blue Rey by Cree Storm

Nothing in life comes for free....Rey had never felt as if he fit in anywhere. Even learning he had two brothers didn't really change that. However, having Dustin and Winter brought into his life helped ease his loneliness. The day Rey was told that these two men were his life mates was scary, yet amazing. Finally he would not have to go through life only able to count on himself...he would have his hippo and shark shifter mates to help him every step of the way....but it would definitely come at a cost. 
Dustin hurt for his mate. He knew the little red panda shifter was sad and felt like an outcast in Haven. That couldn't be further from the truth, but he didn't know how to help him through it. Going to Winter, the two men came up with a plan. However soon that plan was put on hold. 
They had all been warned that it was up to them to help save the paranormal/shifter world. However, being forced to go to the one Island no one ever entered, was not something any of them had planned out or thought through. It was just a fact that there was no choice if their destiny was to be fulfilled. The question was would they even make it to the Island alive and even if they did, would they live to tell about it.

Blue Rey, the next installment in the Haven Ranch series by Cree Storm further took the reader into the lives of three brothers. Destined to mate two men and save the shifter world, Rey, the introverted sibling was thrust into a new world with insecurities, destinies, and a dose of love. I definitely recommend the books be read in order as they are a HFN with a continued arc throughout the series.

Ms. Storm built a fascinating world of shifters- new and old- in which their mutual understanding and acceptance was paramount to their survival. The overall premise was well- developed and delivered. My only drawback was the lack of editing in the book. An abundance of mistakes took me out of the story more than once, and created a disjointedness in the reading.

S.E.X. Review~ Midnight Madness by Cree Storm

Midnight has always struggled to understand why his parents would leave him alone and defenseless in the woods as a newborn. Now a man insists he has the answers to what happened and a future planned for him beyond any reasonable man's dream. Walking into the room and seeing six of the largest sexiest beast he had ever laid eyes on and another cutie in the corner, surprised and piqued Midnight's interest.
Discovering the body of the man Law had always looked at as the father he never knew was a rough day. Finding out that the man was not who he said he was, was even harder. Now he is told that the only way he can keep his home and help his people is if he mates with not only one of the sexy men sitting across from him but also a man he has fought and argued with since the day he arrived on the Refuge/Ranch. 
Shaw didn't know what the hell fate was thinking asking him to mate with Law and a young man he had never laid eyes on before. He didn't know if he could do it. Even after being told that the fate of all shifters and paranormals depended on him doing just that. 
Then shots are fired, and people are fighting for their very lives. Can Law, Shaw, and Midnight come together as fate has deemed or will the shifter world cease to exist? 

I thoroughly enjoyed Cree Storm's Midnight Madness~ book 1 in her new series Haven Ranch. Three brothers abandoned at birth and raised by humans found themselves in the middle of a shifter war/prophesy settling in a new town which they inherited from their natural father. Along with their inheritance came the responsibility of an entire town of shifters and their new mates.

It appears that each book in the series will be a trio with each brother receiving his own book.

Midnight, Sky, and Rey will mate with two shifters who've resided on the ranch and fulfill the prophesy to stop the war and help perpetuate the shifter race.

The world building was well developed and the characters exuded personality. At bit of formatting issues and a HFN with the anticipation of an HEA, Midnight Madness was worth the read.
