S.E.X. Audiobook Review~ 65 Hours by N.R. Walker & Narrated by Nick J. Russo

Cameron Fletcher and Lucas Hensley are advertising executives who have Sixty Five Hours to pull together the campaign of their careers.

Sixty Five Hours to get along. Sixty Five Hours to not kill each other. Sixty Five Hours to fall in love.

DETAILS

Author: N.R. Walker
Narrator: Nick J. Russo
Publisher: Blueheart Press
Run time: 5 hours 27 minutes
Release Date: 08/06/2020

What could be better than reading an N.R. Walker book, listening to one! 65 Hours by Ms. Walker and narrated by Nick Russo was fantastic. The quick read/listen kept this reader interested and on the edge with mild drama and hilarity.

As Lucas and Cameron were thrown together to complete a project, the men realized they had more in common than they previously thought. Mr. Russo’s voice brought forth the trepidations of Cameron and the oh so snark of Lucas. Just my cup of tea!

With only 65 hours to complete the assignment and land the biggest deal of their lives the narrator’s rendition of Ms. Walker’s story was fast paced and hit all the marks of an audiobook. I was pulled into the story and never left- wanting more of not only the tale but the smooth voice delivering it.

A must read or listen to.

S.E.X. Review~ Under the Boardwalk by Felice Stevens

Narrated By: Nick J Russo

Cover Design: Reese Dante

Length: 3hrs 56 minutes

Blurb

Beneath the famous Brooklyn landmark, love is hidden but not denied: All his life, Alexi Kharpov has dreamed of traveling to unknown exciting places instead of working at his family’s frozen custard stand on the famous Coney Island boardwalk. Every year is the same until a gorgeous man picks a spot in front of his stand to sing, captivating him with his beautiful voice. After two summers of listening, it might finally be time for him to cross that boardwalk and take a chance.

Opera singer Cameron Maxwell has traveled the world, but the sight of the beautiful man serving custard to tourists touches his heart like nothing ever has before. A summer fling might be exactly what he needs to put his problems out of his mind, but the last thing Cam expects is to want the summer to last forever.

It’s a season of discovery for both men who learn to dig deep within their heads and hearts to decide whether secrets old and new should remain buried, or if love is too important to keep hidden under the boardwalk.

About Felice

I have always been a romantic at heart. I believe that while life is tough, there is always a happy ending around the corner, My characters have to work for it, however. Like life in NYC, nothing comes easy and that includes love, but getting there is oh so fun and oh so sexy.

I live in New York City with my husband and two children. My day begins with a lot of caffeine and ends with a glass (or two of red wine). I practice law but daydream of a time when I can sit by a beach somewhere and write beautiful stories of men falling in love. Although there are bound to be a few bumps along the way, a Happily Ever After is always guaranteed.

Under the Boardwalk by Felice Stevens was a warm sweet read of two very different men from two different walks of life.

Russian-American Alexi worked in his family custard stand at Coney Island, very traditional and stuck in their ways.

Cam on the other hand came from a free spirit family emblazoned with love and acceptance.
I'm a fan of anything Felice Stevens and adore her characters and even though I adored Cam and Alexi, I found them both to be portrayed as almost juvenile.

Ms. Stevens always delivers well developed flawed characters who strive to make themselves and those around them better- Cam and Alexi were no different.

Narrator Nick Russo delivered a nice oration of a well written story. I always attempt to surmise the voices of the author’s characters, and for this reader, Cam hit the mark, but Alexi did not. Alexi’s voice almost sounded other-worldly, with a thick Russian accent~ not something I expected from a young man who’s lived his entire life in New York and mingles with tourist.  Regardless, Under the Boardwalk was wonderful to listen too.

A misunderstanding and hurt feelings caused Abel to walk away from Kai- the man destined to be his mate and the love of us life. All of Me by Cardeno C. was a touching and heartwarming tale of two men perfectly suited for each other.

The angst was palpable but the overriding theme was love and acceptance. Cardeno C. always does a superb job in her heartwarming story telling and in choosing her narrator.

Robert M. Clark drove the theme of the book home with his inflection and character guidance. A lovely job by author and narrator.

S.E.X. Review~ Red River by Cardeno C. Narrated by Nick Russo

Two Alpha shifters join together to lead their pack and build a family.
Commitment, loyalty, and strength aren't enough to make Wesley Stone's birth pack accept an Alpha with a physical imperfection, even if it's a meaningless mark. Putting the safety of his pack above his own wellbeing, Wesley trades himself for another Alpha and agrees to mate with a stranger in a mysterious, insular pack.
Alphas from Jobe Root's family have led the Red River pack from the first day shifters walked the earth. Now the time has come for Jobe to fulfill his destiny, but to do that, he needs his mate by his side. Spiritual, easygoing Jobe reveres Mother Nature and trusts in fate, yet he can't help being nervous about how his mate will react to his new life in Red River, his new life with Jobe.
Two Alphas with contrasting personalities, different upbringings, and divergent beliefs come together for the good of their packs. But to stay together, Wesley and Jobe must see beyond the surface and embrace every facet of themselves and their union.

Red River was a beautiful and soulful tale of two alphas, thrown together under unforeseen circumstances who find common ground as a pack pair.

Wesley always wanted to lead his own pack and thought that he’d take over from his uncle when the elder retired~ but this did not happen. Instead, he was given to another pack for a mating he never desired.

Jobe, alpha of Red River has waited a long time for Wesley to be by his side and was thrilled the day Wesley walked back into his life to be his mate, lover and partnered alpha.

Cardeno C. delivered angst and heart ache as the two men waded through uncertainties, insecurities and trials & tribulations. Wesley and Jobe were loving men with sentiment in abundance and an internal desire to create an amorous union and achieve their HEA.

Luckily for the reader, the author allowed the characters to steer her writing in the direction of acceptance and love.

The added twists Cardeno C. added were surprising and fortuitous, with proper explanations but leaving room for more books to come.

Nick Russo’s narration did the book justice as his voice portrayed the characters as I imagined them in my head. The inflection, sincerity and romance in Mr. Russo’s voice delivered a sweet tale through the words of Cardeno C.

Red River conveyed everything a reader could desire in a shifter romance with an added kick.
