He certainly thinks it will and it seems he’ll need convincing otherwise.

Greg and Patrick came to a life changing decision as two became three in Lily Harlem’s Complete Us. The Redwood Pack was at odds with a neighboring pack, led by ruthless leader, Titan. But not all of Titan’s men believed in his ways and some even took a beating to get out. Carlos was one of those men, and soon joined the Redwood Pack where, found by Greg and Patrick in animal form- the man soon became their mate.

The union went from zero to sixty in no time at all with very little angst to substantiate the tale. I just wish there was more.

Or can they? Will the new lovers ever be able to reveal their secret to the Redwood Pack, or is it just too dangerous? Can their love conquer all?

Our Secret, Redwood Shifters 3 told the story of dog-shifter Davey and mountain lion Lawson.  Lily Harlem’s serial continuation picked up where Finding You left off.

Short and sweet, the two men discovered they were mates but lamented over the fact that dogs and cats don’t mix. But, the mate-pull too strong, both men were drawn to each other and their mating pull.

Nice characters with little angst or substance, Our Secret was a sweet addition to the series.

Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of anal sex.

Finding You by Lily Harlem was the continuation of her Redwood shifters series. Aleco, Pedro, and Julie- mated for many years- faced a trial that would surely scare any committed ménage and force them to take matters into their own hands.

While on an excursion in their town, Julie was kidnapped, leaving Aleco and Pedro bereft- their mate yanked away from them. While searching for her, the dog pack discovered a neighboring pack alpha was the culprit in the hopes of taking over territory.

While the premise of the story was nice, I fell short on the length of the story. No back story to the dog shifters original meeting of their human mate, no son Neo (book 1) concerned about his mother’s kidnapping, and sex which was run of the mill, and not what I’m used to by the talented Lily Harlem.

While the author does have me hooked to see where she’ll take the series, I just needed a bit more.
