Stress and the Modern Dad was a nice addition to Sean Michael’s Mannies Incorporated series. I adore this series, for the low angst and feel good vibes. Nothing heavy; just two men who fell in love and adorable children.

Hannah, advanced for her age, very precocious, and super adorable- Caroline, darling infant- Bry, dad to the two beautiful girls- and Cor, goes from friend to manny, to fiancé. Together, the four made a picture perfect family.

If you’re looking for lots of drama don’t expect it with Stress and the Modern Dad (or the series). This book was fantasy run amok, but in a good natured way. Lovable children, nosy yet well-meaning family members, and two very sexy men looking for their HEA.

Three New Wishes by Sean Michael was a wonderful addition to the Rainbow Island series. Guard, Damien, and James were back to grant wishes for others and repair their tenuous relationship.

I always enjoyed reading about the wonderful trio and the fantasies they created for others. Each fantasy was self-contained and added a depth into the psyche of the characters.

Tim and Rain developed a full-time D/s relationship from great attraction and the need the take care of each other. I enjoyed their story and the way they meticulously created a rich bond.

Mike and Brendan also hit all the buttons with their sexual chemistry.

Angus and Robbie, already and established couple, desired to spice up their sexual relationship with puppy play and secured Master Sam for assistance. My least favorite of the stories, but absolutely no reflection on Ms. Michael's writing- just not this reader’s thing, but I'd never pass on a Sean Michael book.

Collectively the fantasies were bold and daring and created an atmosphere of sexual tension and gratification. Additionally, the Rainbow Island trio tugged at my heart strings as they bore through insecurities and insurmountable odds to come out better on the other side - and together.

Whip and Nicky returned in Sean Michael's Bringing Nicky Home- although part of a series, the book can be read as a stand-alone. 

Whip and Nick are larger than life characters with exuberant personalities and flawless love for each other.

Ms. Michael delivered a sensual tale- harmony and sexy- Whip and Nicky were the perfect fit. 

Whip's strong personality was only made stronger by Nicky's omnipresent and boisterous demeanor- survival skills solid and steadfast.

The secondary characters added depth to the story and the sexy scenes were well placed. BDSM writing is a talent Sean Michael excels at, and Bringing Nicky Home does not disappoint. 

I look forward to more in the series.

Reader Advisory: This books contains severe biting and bloodplay during sex between vampires. There is also a scene of fisting and some scenes of violence.

In true Sean Michael fashion, Reclaiming was edgy and raw- a new spin on the paranormal world focusing on vampires.

Aaron was turned against his will by a vampire whose sole purpose was to create an army of disgruntled, malcontent babies. Beau, the vampire in love with his boy Aaron, now must come to his aid and teach him about life as a vampire while wading through their relationship.

Reclaiming contained dark content and a harsh look at the world of the undead through Sean Michael's pen. There was nothing warm and loving about Reclaiming even though you felt the main characters loved each other. This world was thwarted with death and a large dose of BDSM, something Sean Michael writes with expertise. 

Reclaiming was an erotically dark side to a new series and one I look forward to reading about more in subsequent books. Intriguing characters with large personalities- Reclaiming was worth the read.

Rainbow Island created fantasies for those that wanted more but couldn’t attain it in the ‘real world’. Guard, Damien, and James are capable of giving others what they desire~ unfortunately, their lives as a triad are not up to snuff.

Sean Michael delivered three sexy tales as men of varied walks of life arrived on the island. Cameron wanted to be loved and Xander wanted to love, Ben yearned to be kidnapped and forced to participate as a sex slave, and Leo, a dominant, needed to submit to make him a better dom.

All three stories were very diverse and each created a different illusion of desire and need. Three More Wishes will appeal to a variety of readers as the small tales are different and not connected. My only drawback is that the lives of Guard, Damien, and James are still shrouded in anonymity. I look forward to Ms. Michael’s taking us on their personal journey.

Tasting was everything I’d hoped for, delivering a better understanding of Christian’s nature and Peter’s fierceness. Together they brought life off the pages and the struggle to find one self’s when the message has always been negative.

Beer and Clay series should not be missed. As always, Sean Michael delivered a sure-fire winner.

Christian needs what Peter has to give him, but will he let himself have it?

With Toby’s stalker behind bars, Damon and Toby can relax and enjoy their relationship, sinking into basking and reveling in each other.

Things are just heating up for Peter and Christian, though. A former soldier, Christian still hasn’t found his subspace and he’s worried it either doesn’t exist or he’s simply doing it wrong. Peter has as much patience as he needs, though, and he slowly pushes Christian to the edges of his limits, doing everything he can to help Christian grow and flourish.

Christian’s training and the café they’re opening create good excuses for Christian to keep from submitting, even though, deep down, it’s what he really wants. Peter’s perseverance will have to work overtime to overcome them.

Will Christian ever give in to the things he knows he needs? Only time will tell.

Following the lives of the men of the Beer and Clay series never disappoints, and Fermenting was no different. Sean Michael delivered her usual sexy men and erotic scenes as Peter and Christian grew more as a committed couple and helped Christian find his subspace.

Now that Toby’s stalker has been caught, the men can move on with their lives and the dynamics between the four friends grew even more.

Always chock full of sex, Ms. Michael created a new synergy between Dom Peter and the ex-military man submissive Christian that electrified every available surface, including my e-reader. An infusion of fun and games added to the book’s appeal and placed a smile on my face.

A few grammatical snafus, but as always, I enjoyed reading each book in the Beer and Clay series and look forward to more adventures.

It’s Trig’s fourth year at the Gay Riders’ Carnival and this year he’s not sure if he’s looking for more than a few nights of camping, checking out the booths and listening to the music. He’s been dumped a lot in the last year and is looking more to lick his wounds and just relax.

It’s the first time at the Carnival for Tarzan and he doesn’t know exactly what to expect. When he lays eyes on Trig, though, he knows what he wants. Trig claims he’s not a bottom, but he’s tripping all of Tarzan’s instincts.

Can these two men find a middle ground, or will their attraction last only as long as the Carnival itself?

Publisher's Note: This book is the sequel to The Biker's Pup by Sean Michael. It is best read in sequence but can be read as a standalone.

As always with a Sean Michael book, one can expect instant sexual attraction, heady interludes and explicit dialogue. The Biker’s Dom falls well into this realm as Trig and Tarzan met at the annual Gay Riders’ Carnival and instantaneous combustion ensued.

Trig was of the mindset of being a dom, but Tarzan was clued into the fact that maybe the man was a sub needing to escape. Lucky for Tarzan, Trig finally succumbed to his persistence.

The book was an enjoyable read. The story was fast-paced with great sexual chemistry between the two men. Whip and Nicky make an appearance from The Biker’s Pup and although it’s not necessary to read said book, I would recommend it.

I liked both Trig and Tarzan. Both were loving men with nurturing tendencies which suited the life they both strove for.

The Biker’s Dom kept me interested as only Sean Michael can, with sexual action every other page.

As the love between Toby and Damon deepens, the man intent on destroying their happiness increases his efforts.

Toby and Damon are back in Brewing, their relationship deepening more despite the continuing efforts of a stranger to bring them down.

Helping in their efforts are their best friends Peter and Christian. Peter’s new investment in a three-story building on the same block as Damon’s bar offers Toby the opportunity of having a studio close to home. It also gives Peter and Christian a home they’ve made together, which Peter hopes will bring them closer together.

A former soldier, Christian has a hard time letting go and finding his subspace. It’s going to take a lot to break the conditioning he’s learned in the Army. Peter is stubborn, though, and he’s seriously falling for his strong sub.

Will yet another attack bring down two couples this time?

Beer & Clay series has fast become an auto-read for me and Brewing substantiated my claim. Sean Michael further took us into the lives of Damon & Toby and Peter & Christian. What I loved about the book was the fact that we were not given a view of only one couple, but treated to a birds-eye view of each couple. Every chapter featured a duo as the forefront with the other as supporting cast.

Although I love Damon and Toby, the dynamics between Peter and Christian is off the chart. Christian’s struggle with the conflict of his military background and his desire to submit radiated through Michael's writing; well-written and with depth.

If , and I say only if, I had any complaint, it would be that the capture of Toby’s stalker appeared anti-climactic, especially since that feature had been interwoven into the backdrop of the story line.

Brewing was sexual and erotic and I look forward to seeing where Sean Michael takes our loving couples next.
