S.E.X. Review~ Extra Point by Cree Storm

Jotham was one of the oldest of the paranormal world, and a dragon shifter. He had been one of the attending Councilmen for the mating Games, since its creations. It is a time, for most, to come and have some fun, play some games, and hopefully find their mate. However, for Jotham, it was the time of his worst nightmare. Someone had taken his daughter over a hundred years ago. Discovering that Councilman Troy, his supposed friend, was behind his daughter’s disappearance was something Jotham had a hard time dealing with. 
When he was first approached about the sinister actions of his fellow councilman, Jotham had not believed the men's accusations. Then Ricky, Ian, Joop, their mates, and family proved their words were true. Discovering his daughter had died was heartbreaking, but then he saw a picture in a file and knew the little girl looking back at him could only be one person...his granddaughter. 
Ricky and Ian convinced him that maybe one of the victims might be able to help them find the other captives. That is how he met his destiny.... his Q... his mate. 
Q had never really known a life outside the labs and captivity. So many people and no ability to communicate was terrifying. Then he saw the most beautiful sight in the world. His koala wanted to pounce and claim the man...but then he found out Jotham was a man of power and that type of person had only brought him fear and pain. 
Can Q push past his fear and help his mate find his granddaughter and others still being imprisoned? Can Q push his fear even harder aside and allow his dragon mate to claim him? Or will all be lost forever? 

The plot thickens in The Mating Games series by Cree Storm, Extra Point. Jotham, the almighty dragon shifter found his mate amongst those caged by Councilman Troy and his band of mad scientists. Q, the koala shifter, and champion of the captured children lived a life in captivity until set free by ‘the mates’.

As one thing worked in their favor, another attempted to tear them apart. Ricky, Ian, Joop, and their mates assisted Jotham in rescuing his long-lost granddaughter and several children.

Ms. Storm’s book was action-packed and adventurous. The familiarity of the men rang through and their care for each other resonated. Ms. Storm did a nice job of world building and giving the reader enough information, making me want to come back for more. My only drawback was the lack of editing/formatting. Words ran together and misspelled names detracted from the read.

The Mating Games gathering has arrived! 
Finding ones mate is not always easy. Not everyone's mate is always the same species and the Council knows this, so they designed a way for all types of shifters and other paranormals to come together. Have some fun, meet new people, and if you are one of the lucky ones....find your mate. 
Knowing that Councilman Troy is responsible for their friend's disappearance, and proving it, are two different things. However, Colby and Ian are just as determined to do that, as they are to figure out how to make their mating official. 
Discovering that the councilman is using endangered animal shifters for his own purposes, pushes Colby's saber toothed tiger and Ian's giant golden crowned flying fox to change their approach, but not their determination. 
The thing is, even with all they know, can they save Joop and the others and still prove that Councilman Troy is behind it all or will the Councilman make these two a part of his experiments first?

False Start by Cree Storm was a nice story about Joop and Kahn’s mating. The story flowed and continued the intriguing world building Ms. Storm created in her new series The Mating Games.

I adored Joop and the fact that he was an average guy, a beaver shifter, and had true human qualities~ not everyone can be the tall studly type~ and his vampire mate loved him even with what Joop considered his flaws.

False Start further took us into the nefarious world of certain council members and their attempt to genetically enhance and create shifters of their own choosing.

The Mating Games series took me on a roller coaster ride that I have not yet tipped over the top. I am looking forward to each subsequent book in the series.

A saber toothed tiger and a flying fox made for a wonderful couple in Cree Storms’ Unnecessary Roughness, The Mating Games #2. Colby and Ian lit up the pages with their wit and charm as they banned together with Ricky, Derk, and friends and family to discover the unscrupulousness of the council and save their friend Joop.

What I am enjoying about the series is that although the storyline will continue in the next book, each one still delivered an HEA. But I do recommend reading them in order.

The secondary characters, once again kept me laughing and thinking, ‘everyone needs parents like them’.

Ms. Storm delivered sensuality and sexiness, especially in the mating of Colby and Ian. Depth and intrigue accompanied the drama as the tale unfolded.

I am adoring the series and look forward to reading the next book.

Just being a skunk shifter, isn't easy. Try being a skunk as well as a socially inept genius. For Ricky, that was his life. However, he was now at the Mating Games to try and change who he is. He wanted a mate. He wanted someone that would love him for who he is and not think him strange or boring. 
Derk had been trying to find his mate for years. With the urging of his best friend, Derk said he would give the Mating Games gathering one last chance. Being the quarterback to the large shifter football team requires lots of practice. However, he didn't expect it to bring him to his adorable mate. 
The thing is, not only does Derk want him, but so does the Council, and they will do whatever it takes to have Ricky in their possession. 
Can Derk keep his mate safe, or will the council jump in and intercept his mating.

Cree Storm’s Quarterback Sack was the start to her new and interesting series, The Mating Games. Every four years unmated paranormals get together to play games, have fun, and hopefully find their mates. Ricky and his friends, Ian and Joop are among the young men searching for love. Brainiacs running their own lab and wanted by the Council, the three friends found adventure and scare.

Derk, a bear shifter, scented Ricky and discovered the skunk was his mate. Insta-mating, the two men ‘loudly’ consummated their union.

Sweet and endearing, Quarterback Sack delivered likeable characters with personality. The secondary characters were also developed and added laughter to the tale.

The Mating Games premise will have this reader coming back for more.
