S.E.X. Review~ Data Input by Cree Strom

Patch returns with an unknown source on his tail and is forced to disclose the secret network he has been working with to find missing men. Patch never expected to discover the United Council was behind everything and that now they want him dead. When Bram rips him apart and Zion, his "mate", allows it to happen, Patch decides to go it alone and hopefully take the Council’s eyes off his family and friends.

Zion is struggling with having a coworker for a mate and makes a big mistake that could cost him the love of his life. Searches bring up nothing, until a mutual acquaintance says he knows where Patch is and finally agrees to take Zion to his mate.

Can Zion fix his mistake and get Patch to return to MYSTIC and Zion's side, or will he be forced to go on the run with his mate? Because there is no way Zion will leave Patch behind.

Data Input by Cree Storm was an enjoyable addition to the MYSTIC series. Patch and Zion, opposite ends of the spectrum, came together to make a life for themselves personally and as part of MYSTIC.

The adventures continued as the men of MYSTIC attempted to discover and destroy the enemy while maintaining relationships~ a difficult task to muster.

Ms. Storm delivered a balanced tale of romance and intrigue with the development of the newest in the series.

I particularly liked Patch and his carefree attitude in the face of danger~ a defense mechanism in spite of the strains imposed by his gifts. Zion was a loving mate, albeit a tad bit smug and at times condescending.

Ms. Storm’s delivery of mating is a refreshing idea to a traditional paranormal book. When the men discover they are mates~ they mate~ then the interesting happenstances occur.

I look forward to seeing where Cree Storm plans to take the series~ bad guys, good guys, children~ where will it end?

S.E.X. Review~ The Rules for Mating by Cree Storm

Trent and Kalib have known for some time they are mates. However, they can't seem to stop arguing long enough to make it official. Maybe the rules of mating the others have set for them can help them make it work. A Canadian vacation is suggested to help Trent and Kalib find the time to talk and maybe figure out if they are really meant to be.

An attack on the Canadian Mystic agents interferes with their alone time. A few agents are hurt and another man, Keith, is injured and almost dies. Needing answers, Trent uses the infatuation Keith seems to have for him in order to gain information about the Eliminators and the part the Council may be playing in the attacks.

What will happen when Keith finds out that the only man for Trent is in the other room?

Just when you thought things couldn’t be more awry, MYSTIC turned into a whole other level of craziness with a surprising game-changer.

The Rules for Mating brought Trent and Kalib together along with the crew of MYSTIC US and Canada, infusing new characters with interesting abilities.

What I enjoyed about the series was that Cree Storm created a world that was very human with a paranormal twist sans the typical shifters.

The MYSTIC crew have varying abilities stemming from a meteor strike of the earth. A world with no women, each man will eventually fall for a mate and have the potential to procreate.

The Rules of Mating was action-packed both in the bedroom and out. Comical elements infiltrated the seriousness of the situation Trent and Kalib found themselves in, as they traversed their tenuous relationship.

New life came forth as did new friends.

Ms. Storm delivered a nicely written sci-fi-esque tale that leave you wanting to come back for more. Each book is a standalone, but I recommend reading them in order.

S.E.X. Review~ The Tin Man's Heart by Cree Storm

[Siren Classic ManLove: Erotic Alternative Futuristic Paranormal Romance, M/M, HEA]
After a meteor attack a group of men are brought together by the World Council called MYSTIC. MYSTIC is a group of men with multiple powers known as celestials. They are only brought in to deal with Nefariouses, men with powers used for their own evil, twisted purpose.
Maxim is a MYSTIC agent. He can change the weather, shoot fire, and even turn into metal. He fears very little, until he meets his mate, Quade Sanders.
Quade Sanders is renowned. He has saved hundreds of lives with his gifts of clairvoyance, precognitive abilities, and mind-reading capabilities. However, Quade's inability to use those gifts on Max makes understanding why Max refuses to actually mate with him not just confusing, but painful.
Someone is using video games to rape and kill, and Quade and Max must try and help find the killer before he can strike again.

The Tin Man’s Heart by Cree Storm was a nice addition to her series MYSTIC. The third book in the series- a standalone- but I would recommend reading the series from the start.

The Tin Man’s Heart followed Maxim and Quade, fated mates yet not mated. Quade was a clairvoyant and mind-reader who needed Max to ground him, which led to confusion as to why Max refused to mate with his man.

Ms. Storm delivered a well-written sci-fi story with twists and turns that led the reader on a merry chase of the bad guys. Utilizing the theme of a video game was an interesting addition into a world of super hero good & bad guys.

The infusion of each man having the ability to form certain hero-ist traits added a depth to the story and gave readers the sense of a genre within a genre. My only drawback to the book was all the characters. I found myself re-reading a few pages to keep track of a conversation between three or more of the men.

S.E.X. Review~ Ryker's Aquamate by Cree Storm

A meteor attack has changed the world as we know it. Most of the people that survived now have special powers. However, as with all people, some are good and some are evil. There is a group of men that were brought together by the World Council called MYSTIC, a group of men with multiple powers. They are only brought in on to deal with Nefariouses. These are men with powers used for their own evil, twisted purpose.

Ryker Spalding is a MYSTIC agent. He is six feet three inches and can control metal, speak any language, and decode any message while levitating in the air. Quinn Sanders can breathe underwater while he talks to underwater mammals. He lead a quiet life until the day a sadistic serial killer set his sights on him. Now he can only hope that his new found mate, Ryker, can keep him safe without one or both of them getting killed.

Ryker’s Aquamate by Cree Storm was a wonderful introduction to her new series MYSTIC. Meteor-destroyed earth has rebuilt itself with men as the primary species and no women. This sci-fi/paranormal thriller was an adventure from the first page.

Ryker, a MYSTIC agent has distinctive abilities, along with his team. Quinn and his twin brother were also special. For Ryker, Quinn was even more special as the man was his mate. The first male-male pairings in the new world~ post-earth destroying meteor.

Ms. Storm took an interesting topic and changed it into a fast-paced story that held my interest. I loved the references to the Justice League and Ms. Storm’s ability to interweave superhero facsimiles into her story. I especially took notice of the Aqua Man character, as that particular member of the Justice League has always been my favorite.

The character development took us through the ups and downs of survival of the fittest and the complications encountered in a new world where everyone has powers, even the bad guys.

Subtle hints were dropped as to the incite and personalities of the MYSTIC team members and the men they rescued when saving Quinn. Ms. Storm left the story wide open to deliver more wonderful and creative tales in her series.
I look forward to reading the next book.
